People without credit cards.

Don't count on them EVER getting paypal. It's fucking lame, but that's the way it is.

I'm sure there has been a thousand of these threads.
If you have paypal, how the hell do you get money into the account? Via credit/debit card.
And if that is a problem, get one of those pseudo credit cards you can top up with cash from a post office/convenience outlet/what ever the fuck you refer to regular ass shops as.

Yeah, I have the same problem and after a little research I don't think I'll get one JUST to subscribe to GB. It's unfortunate, but they probably have reasons for not supporting such an obvious and comparatively user-friendly choice...

Get a debit card, don't you have a bank account? I bet you do, it's not hard to get a debit card which I think would work as well.

It does, I use my  debit card as a credit card online constantly, including when I subscribed to GB.  I'm 24 and still don't have a credit card because I waited until after college to get one and now I don't have enough credit.  These car payments and bills I'm paying better work fast so I can get myself a damn credit card like an adult.

Paypal takes a cut of any money they handle (around 3%), so I can understand why they don't want to just hand away money when their is a much simpler means of payment.

Also I hear Pre-paid credit cards are fine.

I don't think they dropped it, at least not officially.

When they started with the membership I was looking for paypal support pretty much every 2nd day of the first month, because it was supposed to be there "soon".. time flies. I'm really curious about the reason why it's taking so long or why they won't support it, whichever it will be.

Eh I don't get the Paypal hate, I certainly don't think it would hurt the site.

ALL credit card payment are subject to a similar fee.  Paypal is hardly any different.  It's much more convenient for 99% of people out there.  It's as close as we have to standard, and companies accepting money online are foolish not to accept Paypal.  It's throwing money away in droves not to.
