It seems ridiculous to me that Steam is not a platform, but XBLA and PSN are? Can someone enlighten me?

Well, if XBLA and PSN are, then it should be, I totally agree. Why not use the sites features and add it?

I didn't know XBLA and PSN were considered platforms. I just put them under 360 and PS3, just like I put steam under PC.

I see where you're coming from, but I just think it would cause more problems than it solves to have Steam as a platform. Does a game like Company Of Heroes then come out on both PC and Steam? That's just plain confusing.

What GB needs, if it doesn;'t have the facility, is to have sub-platforms. Then you could have Steam incorporated into the PC section.

Nice! That seems like a perfect idea.

I think instead of adding Steam as a platform, they should just take off PSN & XBLA.

Yeah, If Wii Shop Channel, Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network gets to be treated as platforms, so should Steam.

I think it should be at least a sub platform. Yea, thats what they should do. Have the main platforms Xbox 360, PS3, PC, etc. Then have sub platforms like XBL, PSN, Steam, GameTap (maybe), etc.
