Ok, I'm trying to get a straight answer here. I've seen mixed responses on different forums. AC Odyssey is currently on sale. I own the base game on Uplay. If I buy the season pass on steam, does that "link" to Uplay? My brain is telling me no, but my heart wants to believe. Anyone else have experience with this?

You mean that you own the game on uplay already and want to buy the pass on steam?

I believe the answer would be no, with the few uplay games i own on steam they still start from the steam folder. I have 2 copies of Far Cry blood dragon, one on steam and one on uplay and they are completely separate.

Have you tried contacting ubisoft or steam?

I'm gonna say "no" as well. I'm not a programmer, but I imagine that the DRM/meta data/whatchama whosits in the Uplay version of Odyssey won't match up to the Steam version's meta data of the season pass. And like OurSin, I also have a Steam version and a Uplay version of Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon; the Steam version is installed while the Uplay version wants to be installed.

So, even with Steam refunds being a thing, I wouldn't tempt fate.
