Subscribing to Premium Podcast feeds on iOS podcast app

Hello. Just a quick guide to anyone who wants to subscribe to the Giant Bomb Premium Podcasts feed on their phone podcast app. This method definitely works using an iPhone and the Offical Podcast app, and should work for other podcast apps and maybe Android.

Open Safari on your iOS device.

Go to www.giantbomb.com/premium/podcasts

Log into the website if your not already.

Hit the RSS feed button next to the premium podcast.

This will open the iOS podcast app on your phone.

A pop-up will prompt you to enter your login and password. Enter both.

You should now be subscribed to the Premium Podcast feed.

I got very excited for a second, but it doesn't seem to be working with my android. The app I'm using is Podcast Addict. Oh well :(

@nickhead: the app will almost certainly have a way to subscribe via RSS. Just use the podcast RSS link, and it'll probably prompt you for login info. I know that's how Doggcatcher does it, and that's a terrific android podcast app.

@insidioustuna: Yeah I used the RSS link and the app found it, but it never brought up a login screen. Weird thing is, earlier today, I went to the most recent Danswers, downloaded it to my phone, and it played through the app that way. Just seems like I can't login to subscribe to all premiums through it. Is Doggcatcher a free one? Or one of the paid ones?

Doggcatcher isn't free, but it's worth it. Been using it for years now.

Using PocketCast and copying the rss url into the search bar, but I am not getting a login window, but Giantbomb premium is found. However, and the only podcasts I can see are some old 2013 ones...

Anyone seen something similar and can help?

Wow, thanks! I've been trying to work out how to do this for a while! One correction, the link you want is www.giantbomb.com/podcasts/premium, not the other way around.

I'm bumping into this issue as well for the premium podcasts - I've tried the RSS feed, typing in www.giantbomb.com/podcasts/premium to no avail, any advice? It'd be much appreciated!
