What do you spend more time on: video games, or Giant Bomb?
Depends on how much content GB puts up in a given time period. I purchase very few games but I am interested in seeing them all being played. Lots of QL's can realty eat up my free time.
well in general video games. It's going to get crazy with the intersection of the end of star wars galaxies with the chrono trigger endurance run, and whatever other crazy quicklooks they might have in the next week or so. Thank god this semester is over, giantbomb total saturation imminent.
Giant Bomb because (while not illegal in Michigan) gaming while driving is highly frowned upon. Listening to podcasts/ and quick looks while driving is slightly less conspicuous.
Honestly, I have found myself spending more time with GiantBomb. It seems to just scratch that videogame itch. There's some game experiences I can't get with GiantBomb content, but then, there's a lot that I -can- get from the content.
I think it goes back to my comfort of playing or watching games with my brother when I was a young lad. While playing the game itself is important, there's also a nice feeling from watching someone else enjoy it and share their experience. With the personalities here at GiantBomb, it just feels like I'm watching family members play, and it's great stress relief. GiantBomb has been a fantastic blessing to me, and while it's definitely odd that GiantBomb has somewhat supplanted much of my videogaming experience, it has also expanded my experience to a wider range of games and some insights, comedy, and simple joy I would have never experienced without this amazing crew.
Giant Bomb. I think I reached a point which I have that many games to play (and long ones) I get scared to play them, so I play games like Fractal, Rochard, Edge, Jamestown. Which don't take much of my time.
By the way, the games I have to play are Skyrim (already 40/50 hours in, but god knows how much more I'll spend), Arkham City, AC Revelations, Saints Row: The Third. That's, by my estimations, +100h of game time.
Having a couple of games, particularly long ones can be absolutely crippling in terms of actually getting round to playing them. its the reason I have left Skyrim for around two weeks. Yeah, its easier to talk about games endlessly than to play them.
Getting better though, Christmas break is the time to get things done!
before the big fall rush fo games i spent more time on GB, but lately now that i have games to play its been alot of games.
I've been browsing GB at work lately, so my GB to games ratio is probably around 1:3 or even 1:2 if it's a particularly slow day at the office.
I always have found game discussion more interesting than the games themselves with a few very specific examples.
Also, I spend a bunch of time watching comedy/personality based videos and posting in off-topic because I just like this community.

I tend to watch some GB videos while I'm playing games, as long as they're not too story focused.
This is what I do - especially when playing Madden or FIFA.
Well I would love to be playing Skyrim quite a lot, but school has interfered (only 65 or so hours). So instead, I'll sit here trying to study but end up browsing the content and forums more than I should.
Where would you allocate it if you're doing both at the same time? I tend to watch quick looks while I'm playing something on my xbox about 2 feet over... So I guess it would be a 50/50 split?
Overall more on Giant Bomb, with work and a life I spend more time taking in content here than I do actually playing most games. Bombcast for instance is something I never miss and sometimes will not even play a game every week. Obviously I get more gaming in during heavy release season but it dies down quickly.
Videos have been kinda mehh as of late, seem more like forced content rather than entertainment value.
More goofed shit yo.
@EVO: Using a complicated set of pulley systems surgically implanted inside my head I can turn one eye cock-eyed so I can watch the two at the same time...
...In actuality, my set up is that I have the computer on the left, and the tv on the right, so I can sit in my computer chair and see the tv and monitor from the same chair! It's great for long loading screens and annoying unskip-able cutscenes I've seen before :P
Well while I'm on my computer which is most of my free time, I'm always watching some giant bomb video. I probably only play an hour or two a day at most, though skyrim has been an exception to that rule lately.
So I spend far more time on Giant Bomb.

Easily Giant Bomb.
Cheater >:(
Lately with well over a hundred hours in Skyrim ( I think I'm around 125?) and that number would be way higher if not for all the patch crap, a bunch of Killing Floor with the guys, Some TF2, and little random spurts of whatever I feel like, it's been a whole shit ton of video games here.
