I think almost everybody has a game that doesn't require to much attention that they fall back to when they need to do something while listening to a podcast, so my question to the community is what game do YOU play when you listen to the bombcast?
Lately I have been playing a lot of the original motorstorm. The races are fun, but the tracks too repetitive for me to be able to give the game my full attention, so I only play it when there's a podcast to listen to.
Before that I played Final Fantasy XIII, and had the bombcast play over the straight-corridor grind, and then paused the cast for cutscenes
And before even that I used to play people online in Street Fighter IV for the duration of the newest bombcast.
Feel free to add your half-paying-attention gaming ventures!
What game do you play when listening to the Bombcast?
Pretty much anything that doesn't have a heavy story or atmosphere.
I played two hours worth of Section 8: Prejudice's campaign today while listening to the bombcast. I plan to play Wizardy if GamesRadar put out a podcast today but it doesn't look like they will.
Whatever I'm achievement hunting at the time or a noncompetitive multiplayer session or a single player with a story I don't care for
The one where I lay down in my bed staring into the darkness until the podcast ends or I fall asleep.
I've started listening to the podcast while playing PGR 4. I like to set up custom races in the rain in Tokyo, Japan and race with the cockpit camera. Feels comfy, and the tracks are long.
I have been playing Picross 3D while listening to the bombcast for a LONG time, I just felt it was a game I could easily play while paying full attention to what was being said, like I am using different parts of my brain for each task ;p (if I try and read anything while listening I completely lose track of what they're saying), also that game is packed full with content god damn, took a long time to five star every puzzle, granted I pretty much only played while listening to bombcasts.
But today, since I 100% picross I tried a little M&B:Warband with PoP mod, worked out pretty good, by the end of the cast I had taken 2 castles and a city for my kingdom.
usually an MMO like LotRO, WoW, EVE, Vindictus, Global Agenda, APB, etc. Pretty much anything that I don't need sound to play and doesn't have a story element.
Unreal Tournament. Not the mellowest of games but I go into zen-headshot mode whenever I hear men talking about their bare feet, body pillows and possum-baton sex violence.

It used to be WoW. These days, it's either Rift, Terraria, or some random iPad game. Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts is a good one too.
It has often been Minecraft. Although, trying to build a fully automated tree-farm using saws do tax my mind just enough to either fuck up the building, or not catching anything they talk about.
It varies. I usually listen to them while washing the dishes or walking to or from work. Yesterday though I was playing Cthulhu Saves the World to the new bombcast.
At the moment Blue Dragon. Have it on as I'm grinding XP/SP, once I hit story points I pause and then come back.
During the latest Bombcast I was playing Heroes of Might and Magic V. Other go-to games include Civilization V, Terraria, Defense Grid: The Awakening and Total War: Shogun 2.
i love coming home from a hard days work, turn on the podcast, play two games of madden online and call it a night.
I listen to the Bombcast while programming.
I used to listen to most podcast while playing Minecraft but now its either LOL, TF2 or Disgaea: Afternoon of darkness
