What Games are you gonna pick up with your new Console?

Well with the new consoles dated(sort of) and priced I suspect a few people have probably pre-ordered their next console. Which makes me curious about what games people are planning on picking up with their new console, thats if everything goes smoothly and there are no delays. For me I'm going with:

• Battlefield 4
• Assassin's Creed 4
• Killzone: Shadow Fall
• WatchDogs
• Destiny

Are those all confirmed release titles?

@the_laughing_man: Well apart from Killzone they all have release dates for later this year on the current gen so if things go according to plan they should be out on the next-gen at consoles release, I think.

Anyway I'm thinking Knack and Watch Dogs. Have to see more of them and also see what other games fall into the launch window.

Watch Dogs and Creed 4 for me most likely.

AC4 interests me, but I never played AC3 becasue of the murky reviews, so I think I'll wait for review scores on that one.

But I'll be grabbing Battlefield 4 and Watch_Dogs for sure. Destiny too, but that's a 2014 title. Most likely going to grab some of those smaller indie titles as well, assuming there's a few at launch.

And don't forget that we get Drive Club at launch with PS+.

I'll probably grab bf4 for PC even though a have a ps4 preordered. I might pick up knack if it seems any good around release.

Right now I'm only interested in Watchdogs and The Division. I have no clue when those games are coming out.

But really, I'm buying the system for inFamous Second Son - but I certainly won't be waiting for Q1 2014. Getting PS4 Day 1 if possible (I can't preorder until I know what's happening with my job).

I'll know once the launch lineup is shown and that is if I manage to get one later this year which honestly is doubtful. I think my plan is to wait for my tax return next year and buy one unless I get a sweet Christmas bonus or something from work. Plenty of new games like Beyond, GTA V and Saints Row 4 this fall.

The one's I'm getting without a doubt are Ryse, Quantum Break, Watch Dogs, Below, and TitanFall. I'll likely end up getting Dead Rising 3, whatever Project Spark turns out to be, and whatever SWERY is working on.

Destiny is not out this year...

I don't really know all the launch dates but I am set on.

I was thinking about this yesterday. For the PS4 I was thinking Destiny, Battlefield 4 and Killzone but that's a bunch of shooters. Will likly just wait and see how they turn out before I get them.

Pretty sure Killzone was confirmed to be a launch title. As for those other games, I highly doubt it. If they're aiming for launch we'd know about it by now.

@big_jon: Titanfall is Spring 2014, probably around the same time as Destiny, definitely not a launch title. At this points its unclear whether its Q1 2014.

I'm definitely riding the buzz of the console announcements so whatever I would say now will wildly differ when I actually have to pony up money to buy something, but Watch Dogs looks great. Its open world so I imagine it will take a while to finish. I never played Diablo 3, maybe that? I plan to buy at least one disc based game and load up on indies/downloadables.

For PS4, I'm thinking Knack, Battlefield 4, Destiny and a number of indie games I imagine they'll have at launch. I'm still a bit confused on what exactly is and is not launch-day though so I'm sure this list will change.

I'm going with the PS4 on launch day. So my list is going to include:

-Knack => Looks fun.

-Drive Club => Thank you PS+

-Watch Dogs => Will most likely get when it comes out. Whenever that is.

-Assassian's Creed BF => Will most likely rent.

-A second controller => That's a game right?

-Something cool we don't know about yet.

I put that last bit in there because there's most likely a bunch of games that haven't been announced yet. Anyway, it's funny that we've got so little in the way of release dates for games on both the new systems. Oh well, my PC will keep me entertained until cool stuff comes out. :)

Pre-Ordered the Ps4 already along with: AC4, Watch Dogs, Destiny (2014), CoD Ghosts, The Order, and Battlefield 4.

Also, Planetside 2 will be on Ps4, so I'll be playing that since it will be F2P.

As the Killzone Appreciator I am, I will definitely be getting Shadow Fall with my PS4 at launch. Knack also looks really good and a must buy also (if it is also a launch title).

Most likely Knack and Watch Dogs. If MS somehow convinces me to buy a Xone before it comes out Dead Rising 3 would be the game I pick up with it.

The Crew is a must for me and also The Order. Thats the ones I don't need to see anymore of. PS4 is looking like the one I'm going to pick up and PS+ as well. Just dropped my Gold today... didn't use it all that much anymore with my awesome PC.

If those are PS4 launch games I guess Watch_Dogs and Destiny maybe... but I'm not really sure.

If I can even afford to get more than the system day one I will probably be getting Infamous. It looks pretty awesome so far.

Watchdogs, Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed 4 I'm getting all on PC. I'm still debating on Knack and Destiny.

Based on launch lineup, Killzone and also Drive Club with PS4. Then games that are current and next gen games I will also get on PS4 like Watch Dogs, CoD, and so on. I do not have a PC yet and the games look fine, if not really freaking great on PS4 and Xbox One to me. Also, Tom Clancys The Division looks insane.

If I get a job and save up, I plan on pre-ordering a PS4 and getting these games digitally:

• Driveclub, Don't Starve, Outlast, & Secret Ponchos: Because they'll be free on PS+ at launch month.
• Knack
• Killzone: Shadow Fall
• Whatever F2P games come out at launch: Warframe, Planetside 2, etc.

I won't get a lot because there are a lot of PS3 & Vita games coming out that I want like Tearaway, Killzone Mercenary, GTA V, Beyond: Two Souls, etc.

I have to know the exact launch line up to be sure. Kind of disappointed Infamous won't be out, because that would've made the PS4 a day one purchase for sure.

I won't be able to get an Xbox One until like July 2014. I'll be spending next school year in Germany, so it'll have to wait until I get back. By then there'll be a lot more games out hopefully. And even then I might have to wait so I can catch up on some 360/PS3 things I would have missed while away.

I'm buying a PS4 as soon as Transistor, FInal Fantasy XV, and Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out.

It's a console launch, and that means it's time to buy all kinds of games that I won't like or play that much. But that's part of the fun, no?

So far I have the Playstation 4 and Killzone 4 pre-ordered. Contemplating Knack.

Forza 5, Madden 25, Call of Duty: Ghosts early on. Halo 5, Destiny, FIFA 14 and many more down the road.

Dunno any other launch titles. I would've said Second Son but that's Q1 or Q2 right? That the only exclusive I'm really interested in.

I probably won't be getting one until next year. Watch Dogs looks tempting but hopefully it will be good on current consoles.

Forza 5 is the only launch-title for the Xbox One I know of, and I'm definitely buying it.

As far as day one launch titles for the PS4 I'll pick up Killzone: Shadow Fall, Watch_Dogs and Knack for certain but ACIV looked impressive and I hope that I won't be missing out on anything by not playing Revelations or ACIII.

I plan to finally purchase a Wii U next year, whenever X comes out.
Most likely the new Super Smash Brothers as well.
