What is your most anticipated 2014 video game?

A lot of games. But Dark Souls II above all else.

Mew-Genics. Hopefully that's still on course for release this year.

It's between Dark Souls 2 and Titanfall for me. I'm most excited for the potential of Destiny though.

Dark Souls 2... with that one im set for the year , but cant deny that I would ike to get my hands on both the Withcher 3 and Dragon Age Inquisition , but not as bonkers as I am for Dark Souls 2.

2015: the game

Is there *any* chance whatsoever that Fallout 4 will be announced and released this year? Because otherwise, damn near nothing is grabbing my eye. Well, with the exception of Trials Fusion. That looks dope as hell.

Dark Souls and The Witcher, but I probably won't play the latter this year. I'll wait for enhancements and fixes as PC component prices go down.

For me its Smash Bros, but that is not on the list. So I voted Metal Gear Phantom Pain.

Dark Souls 2, easily. Also curious about Smash 4, Bayonetta 2 and some smaller stuff.

Halo 2 had the best MP maps imo, so i can't wait to replay them.

Final Fantasy XV is like 2016

Just Cause 2 was one of my favorite games last gen. I'm super curious about what Mad Max will be.

I have to say none of those games. I think all the games I'm interested dont have release dates yet. Maybe Destiny but it will probably just be ok.

It'll probably change, but right now it's the persona 4: arena 2 game whatever it's called, and Mind 0 for the vita. Because I itch for some more dungeoncrawlers on my vita, and it looks promising from what I've seen.

Just in case you didn't know, it was made by Obsidian with help from Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and it's a turn-based RPG, and completely South Park at the same time.

It's one of the games I'm looking forward to this year.

I doubt XRD will make it to NA by the end of 2014, but if it does, then Guilty Gear XRD.

Dark Souls II, but The Witcher 3 is right there along side it. My third most anticipated is... Wolfenstein I guess. I don't know enough about Mad Max to get too excited about it.

If Halo doesn't come out this year then its Destiny

I thought, and think, the first inFamous was one of the finest games of the entire generation last time around and I suspect I'll feel very similarly about inFamous: Second Son if they can just tone down the sort of lame magic/combat mechanics from inFamous 2. They had way too much variety and challenge for its own sake without really considering how fun it might be compared to the first.

Now that Lightning Returns is out it's Dark Souls 2. After that it's stuff like Witcher 3, Drakengard 3 and Tales of Xillia 2.

Destiny the most, but I'm really looking forward to the RoS expo for D3, Witcher 3 and The Division. I'm sure Dark Souls 2 will be one of my time-sinks this year too.

Danganronpa 2 or Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Followed by Guilty Gear Xrd and Persona Q.

This poll really made me realize how bored I am with most AAA games. There's definitely a couple games on that list that I'm excited for but the smaller stuff like The Witness or Transistor or better yet, games I haven't heard of yet are a thousand times more interesting to me.

Witchaaaah! That list actually makes 2014 look like quite a tasty year for games. If Persona 5 had declared for a worldwide November release it really would have been quite a year.

Can't wait to play The Witness.

I'm only really looking forward to Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney for the 3DS. There are some interesting games on that list but nothing i'm really excited to play.

Without any doubt Witcher 3, nothing else really interests me, I mean MGS is great and all but I can't see many more interesting stories being told in that universe.

When it comes to AAA games, Destiny is probably my number one for co-op on my PS4. Dragon Age: Inquisition wasn't even on my radar until I replayed Origins (and Awakening+all DLC for the first time) and played through II for the first time, now I'm more excited for it. I think Second Son will be a fine game, but at this point I feel like I'm mainly excited for it just to have another big game on my PS4. There's also Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U for me to get excited about. I also hope Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix comes out this year, and I'll hopefully pick up Drakengard 3 at some point for my PS3, and also the sequel/update to Persona 4: Arena.

As for Indies, there's plenty. Transistor, Mew-Genics, The Witness, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, and a few others that I'm sure are slipping my mind at the moment.

Mmhmm. Out of the 28 games listed, I can see myself only possibly buying two of them.

I don't see Bayonetta 2 on that list.

DARK SOULS II

By the looks of that list, Dark Souls II is not only my most anticipated, but my only anticipated game. South Park looks good too, but I'll wait on that one. Is Bayonetta 2 coming out this year?

EDIT: Mario Kart 8, I'm excited for that one too, as well as Smash if it's out this year. Who knew that the Wii U has most of my anticipated games.

Also, I'll be keeping an eye on the indie scene on the PC, there's usually always stuff coming out there that I'm interested in.

Dark Souls ll for sure. The Witcher 3 is right up with it but I probably won't have a PS4 by the time it comes out so DS is taking the lead at the moment.

Definitely The Witcher 3, so much so that it's what will make me upgrade my PC for.

Followed by Project Eternity and Dark Souls 2.

Among the options in the poll I voted for The Withcher 3, but other than that I am really exited about how Divinity: Original Sin is coming along.

Hotline Miami 2. I'll take an indie game over most of those in the pole. I mainly play PC games, and though I hate EA Origin, I'm curious to see how Sims 4 does. I do have a Wii U (still need Tropical Freeze), but I seldom play it; Mario Kart could change that.

Kingdom Hearts Bullshit HD Title. I still need to play Birth by Sleep.

Dark Souls 2 without even thinking about it.

KHIII isn't coming out this year. That aside, I really want Dragon Age 3 to be the one I feel really good about without reservation. I didn't like the actual game-playing in Origins, and I don't like a lot of the writing in 2. I want this one to be the best.
