When adding companies to games

Should we use original company names or the names that they are now known by? cause quite a few games the company is gone or another name, Like secret of evermore, it was published by square soft, and developed by square USA but neither entry is available in the company listing.

As well is any one else having a problem adding companies? i wish there was an area specifically for the addition of new content, instead of having to go to each section to add something new.

These are the publishers and developers that put the games in your hot little hands. In the cases of publishers that have since been acquired and folded into other companies they will be credited as their most recent incarnation. Discrete development studios that exist within larger organizations will retain their identity.
