Do you ever say lines from games in real-life regardless of if the people around you will get the reference? I do that sort of thing all the time. Of course, it's way better if your company understands what you're talking about, but I don't think it's necessary.
What are some quotes you've spouted in everyday conversation?
A few I use with some frequency:
"Assume the party escort submission position." - Portal
"Does it involve wanton destruction?" - Sam and Max Hit The Road
"It's dangerous to go alone. Take this." - Legend of Zelda
"Get out of here, Stalker!" - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (and about 20 other bits of dialogue.)
"They're waiting for you Gordon, in the test chamberrrrr..." - Half-Life (Where in "Gordon" and "test" can be changed to more relevant things)
"Would you kindly..." - Bioshock
"Ahoy there, fancy pants. " - The Secret of Monkey Island
"Shepard." - Mass Effect (gotta do the Wrex voice.)
When game dialogue spills into the real world...
Call of Duty 4's 'Let's do this, Marines' was used regularly until MW2 when it got replaced by 'Rangers lead the way.' There's too many others to count though. I really am such a needless geek at times.

Only one I remember doing is giving my sister a set of keys to my house and saying, "XXXX, here's my keys. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take them with you."
I busted a gut laughing and she just looked at me like I was from mars.
