Reported by the New York Times, the Obamas will be bringing a Wii into the White House. The daughters of Barack and Michelle Obama, Malia and Sasha, received the Wii from Santa and spent time bowling while vacationing in Hawaii. It is reported that the President Elect also participated in the fun we know as Wii Sports.

In the past, President Elect Obama has stated that children should put down the video games, but perhaps this is the change we need? All we know is that there will be a Wii in the same building as the Oval Office.

Now that the little white box of fun is in the White House, is there any place that the Wii is still to conquer? Perhaps Congress would be more constructive if they had Wii Sport contests to decide legislative change? Can't be any worse :)

No. Read it properly. I said your comment was stupid, not you, although you seem to be outing yourself there :)

At least the Wiimote is finally going to be implemented properly. Send your plans to Ubisoft please, at least something good will come of it :)

I knew you were going to go for that nitpick. Oh well, guess its my fault for giving you the fodder.

Implemented properly? Oh, no no no. See, that implies that that piece of "hardware" serves a purpose to begin with, and that people just haven't figured out what it is. The only purpose an essentially broken piece of hardware like that serves is mediocre paperweight. I really hope your plan is not to defend the Wiimote.

I don't have a Wii myself. The only games I've played with the wiimote are those cheap party games that come with the machine. In that application, it works quite well. I am interested to see how it works in games like Mario Galaxy and Metroid.
