SORRY FOLKS - NO MORE CODES. IF ANYBODY BEFORE MY FINAL POST DIDN'T RECEIVE THEIRS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
MODS - FEEL FREE TO LOCK THIS THREAD
Hey folks,
Right, I have an absolute shed-load of XBLA codes for The Splattersand I have no idea what to do with them. I featured the game on GameSpot a few months back and the developers have just sent me like, ALL of the codes. If you've not heard of The Splatters it's a really neat physics puzzle game released earlier this year by three dudes in Israel. It's coming to Steam sometime next year I believe. It's also this week's Xbox Live Deal of the Week (400MSP, down from 800). I don't think it sold massively first time around, probably for the very reasons Patrick has highlighted recently.
Now I don't make a habit of doing promotional work for developers, but like a kid who found a bag of weed who doesn't have the resources to sell, I need people to take this stuff off my hands pronto. I'd just post a bunch of them here except it would be cool if folks who actually wanted to play it, got the codes. Also I'm bored tonight because all my XCOM dudes died on Iron-man and I don't want to look at my Xbox right now.
So if you're interested in winning a copy, reply with your favorite indie game released this year and I'll PM you a code ASAP.
Brad and Ryan's Quick Look (They realize how it's played around the 18 minute mark :P)
My coverage of The Splatters on GS (starts around 7min)
Cheers!
(I've never done a giveaway before - but the forum rules say it's cool. If any mods think any differently let me know, and apologies).
