Your least favorite game genre(s)?

Preschool games. I know my ABCs fine.

JRPG

Probably racing games.

Strategy games. I don't have the patience or the mind for them.

JRPGs, plastic instrument games, rts.

Sports games.

Sports games and Kinect games (Those could be considered as a genre, right?).

First-person shooters, any micro transaction based game and dual stick shooters.

Statistically, it appears to be racing.

Wow. I think I'm the only dude on here that actually likes most sports games. For the topic at hand, I dislike MMO's and single player mmo games like Borderlands.

Hm, the only thing I come close to hating are sports games. That and soulless, mindless shit like FarmVille.

MMO Games and sports games, though I do like the NCAA Football Series and the UFC Undisputed Series but that's it.

I dno if it counts as a genre but all sports games are terrible to me. I think its a sort of realization of your other passions, for instance if you like football you might like the video game but if you hate football your probably not going to like the game.

Sports and racing games.

Fighting games because I'm terrible at them 

FPS of any type, Unless they have some unique gimmic then i ad void them all together.

JRPG -- Chrono Trigger is the only one I've ever enjoyed

RTS and horror, I guess

Sports. All of it. Including driving.

Lots of JRPG on the list! Was a big fan of them growing up, but I think I've seen every possible japanese character/plot combination. Now they tend to just get tedious. (Xenoblade Chronicles being an exception, lots of fun)

I usually enjoy sports and strategy games the least. With a few exceptions of course :)

Racing games stress me out i don't enjoy them at all also i don't really like survival horror too scary for me.

RTS games.

I quite like sports games. FIFA's usually good and I even bought NHL last year. Never watched a hockey game in my life. Good video game though.

I don't enjoy point-and-click adventure, tower defense, and (most) FPS games much.

RTS - I personally think this takes more patience than FGs, because you have to tell things to do stuff, and will probably consume time to do so. Especially when fighting someone else in a large map.

Racing - This I can say I suck in,never been good at steering and all

MMO - Maybe its just my hipster logic to hate things that are popular, but I've never enjoyed MMOs

MMOs most definately. I used to play WoW way back in the day, it was really cool back then, but MMOs really have failed to evolve. I'm also not a fan of the community that MMOs usually attract.

Non-racing sports games. I will literally play every other genre.

MMOs is probably the only genre I don't even touch.

Oh, and third person cover based shooters.

Never really got into anything that took a huge time commitment to get good at: RTS, Fighting games, Sports games, that kinda jazz. I always get really hyped to play them and try them out, then quickly get burnt out when I realize that I'm actually not good at all and the time commitment to get good is waayyy too long.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about tower defense games. Iron Brigade and Rock of Ages (if that counts) are fine though.

Annual sports games and just about any simulation type of game.

Driving games.

Kinect/motion control games. What ever happened to my dreams of virtual reality?

It saddens me to say this but RTS. I've tried many many times to get into the genre, but I just can't something about it immediately turns me off when playing it... I can copilot RTS all day long and have fun, but the act of playing kills it for me for whatever weird reason.

And yeah I also abhor MMOs and gimmicky Motion Control games (although I fully want and expect someone to crack the code on motion controls and actually develop amazing games for it)

I just can't stand the 60$ price tag on a roster update.

Pretty much any simulation--sports, driving, the Sims. Also not a fan of pure platformers, as I find them way too frustrating.

Probably JRPGs, although I definitely don't hate them. I've just never found any appeal in the anime art style, and thus never played any JRPGs. Although that may change soon, as I'd like to play a few of the Final Fantasy games.

Fighting games. Sports games can be fun as mindless entertainment when I don't feel like thinking.

I don't like most serious JRPGs. I liked chrono trigger and old final fantasy games, but every time I get a new one i get more and more frustrated with both the amount of grinding and the unbearable male fanservice.

sim racing. Arcade-y stuff like Blur and Split/Second, no problem. But that "realistic" stuff of Gran Turismo and Forza is just boring

Sport games. Probably one of the few guys in town that doesn't care about sports.

"Bullet hell" games. Mad respect for people who can beat shit like Ikaruga and whatnot, but I hate em.

"Perfect run" games. Not really a genre but stuff like N+ or Super Meat Boy where you have to clear a stage without getting hit. Screw those games. I wanna have fun, not repeat something 30 times.

RTS

Pretty much anything indie, although there are very few select exceptions to that rule.

Sports games and any racing game not titled Burnout.
