Kojima loves The Bionic Woman

In some way, I take comfort knowing Kojima-san is just as geeky a dude as anyone I know.  Seeing his twitpic lunches, his office window view, and his latest DVD purchase... he's just this guy, you know? :)

Finally it has been released!! The person I loved the most in this world. The person I looked up to most in my life. "The Bionic Women" season 1 & 2. I can watch one episode a day and live for at least a little over a month with her.

I actually have a funny story about Lindsay Wagner. 
 
So, I'm in history class, and we're watching an old documentary. A commercial that wasn't cut off comes in with her saying "Hi, I'm Lindsay Wagner". Then I say "Hi Lindsay Wagner" and wave. I brought that place down, and it became an inside joke amongst my friends. 
 
 
But you wouldn't get it.

This not too surprising considering who he cast as Big Boss in the last Metal Gear. But I agree @brackynews, that's the same reason I love Sam Witwer so much(Vader's Secret Apprentice, and star of the soon to be released Days Gone). I love listening to him "geek out" on Twitch and share his various life experiences.

Well, shit. Death Stranding really IS just Kojima hanging out with a bunch of people he thinks are awesome. And I won't fault him for that.

Also, this explains the reveal in the new trailer; it was just Kojima squeeing over working with Wagner. Honestly, in hindsight, I'm surprised no one on the crew recognized her. Bionic Woman was semi-popular, right?

Both Hideo and Lindsay were interviewed by Geoff Keighley on Gameslice after the Sony Press Conference.

This is the kind of shit that sunk Konami.

To be fair, it looks like they aged Lindsay down about twenty years in the game.
