Episode 5 is out tomorrow. Here's the launch trailer!

Careful there be spoilers from episodes 1-4 in this, as well as a few brief scenes from episode 5. Honestly if you're already sure you'll be playing this I probably wouldn't watch the trailer until after you've finished.

Really looking forward to this tbh. I didn't expect to like LiS anywhere near as much as I ended up doing. Yeah it's a bit cheesy at times and I'm still not sure how well it nails the "teen girl dialogue" but it has quite a bit of heart if you manage to get past that.

Remember Me also had quite a bit of heart but it's probably not the worst thing in the world that dontnod is focusing on a genre that's a little lighter on gameplay. I really think Telltale might finally have to step it up a bit after being basically unopposed in this genre.

By the way have we settled on a name yet? Guess you could argue that it's just a new form of adventure game but that seems a bit broad and interactive-story-games just seems lazy.

This means I need to start playing. I got like an hour into the first episode and really liked it but I didnt want to finish it and wait for more episodes so I just sort of quit.

I'm so invested in this story, I'm going to cry when it's over and even more so if they manage to stick the landing with the ending.

So hype for this. I am almost nervous about how this episode turns out. Because for once I don't know how this is gonna end. So excited!

I think it's pretty interesting that the pre-ep patch includes "New improved lipsync for all episodes".

Any reviews that waited for the full game will be using whatever tech advances they made (or extra publisher money if it simply was a case of being unable to pay for enough animator time to get them all nailed down) to get one less thing on the list of minor annoyances that seemed to turn off a lot of people.

Also can't wait for the conclusion. Definitely agree with the above about it being somewhat of a nervous wait to see how this story does conclude.

• Episode 1 only users will have roughly a 167MB download.

When Episode 5 becomes available:

• 3.0GB download for Episode 5

New features added in Episode 1 patch:

• Preparation for Episode 5.
• New improved lipsync for all episodes.
• Collectible mode is now available for all sub contexts even if they don’t contain any collectible.
• All rewindable dialogs are now skippable from the start in collectible mode.
• When finishing an episode, the continue option on the main menu now launches the next episode.
• Collectibles photos format changed from 1:1 to 10:15

Fixes incorporated into the patch

• Fixed UI in the main menu not properly centred on certain configurations
• Fixed ambient sounds playing in all ending credits.
• Fixed sound sometimes glitching when switching episodes.
• School corridor: Fixed skeleton interaction so it’s easier to highlight
• Girl Dormitory : Fixed interaction with Max’s laptop so it is easier to highlight.
• Girl Dormitory : fixed audio/sub from the post-it note item being switched with audio/subs from the birthday card item.
• Chloe’s House: Fixed wrong comment from Max on the bird interaction when going back from getting the tools.

Well at least that means the lip sync might be better for the all-but-assured GB East playthrough of the remaining episodes.

I'm downloading it now. So excited! Cannot wait to see how this ends.

This is the first time in years where I want to take off work to just play a game. I am super thrilled to be playing the end and solving the mystery, but just depressed that it will be over after this.

If Dontnod doesn't do another game like this, it will be a crime against gaming. They could take two years off, but they really need to circle back to anther game with new characters at some point.
