Are there other non geeky podcasts liek Giantbomb?

Like I mean no offense to people but in the UK atleast Star Trek and comics is for geeks and even though I love games and love builidng PC's, I ain't that much of a geek. Like I don't want to talk about how art Braid was or hate on comic book things that got made into movies cause...... I thought Transformers was an amazing film cause it was non stop action and had a fit woman in it.

So I'm wondering if theres anyother non geeky Podcasts like GiantBomb? That wont hate on a Penis being shown in GTA4 cause the joke was very well done but the geeks still want to find something to hate about it.

I think you're lying. Don't prove that you're a regular dude on an internet forum about video games. It's clearly impossible.

You can hardly judge the quality of a podcast by whether the podcasters in it approve of digital penises or not in GTAIV. Perhaps asking "Are there other quality gaming podcasts liek Giantbomb?" would be meet with a better response.

Don't prove anything to anyone, they are suspicious from the start. We don't judge you here, unless you make excuses for who you want to be.

Also, just listen to the ENTIRE back catalogue of GB. I advise it.

If you are looking to go completely off geekism, then I suggest Coverville.  It's a podcast devoted to cover songs on all topics.  http://coverville.com/

Normally, I'd always promote the Tony Kornheiser Showhttp://thiswebsitestinks.com/ As it was my favorite "nongeek" podcast for a long time, but Mr Tony is off doing Monday Night Football for a couple of more years and won't be returning to his daily radio show (which wasn't focused on sports) until his contract with ESPN's MNF is over.  The past shows can be found on Itunes still I think, otherwise try the website.  They are still hillarious even if the subject matter is outdated.

If you just want a video game podcast that is reasoned and fun, I suggest Idle Thumbs (been listening to them for a few months) and Orange Lounge Radio (been listening to them for a couple of years) http://orangeloungeradio.com/

Bottomline is, though, unless we know what your "nongeek" interests are, it's hard to recommend something.

Well you are here, you are for sure a geek. Perhaps a "closet-geek" which means you are only a geek when alone and most other people don't really know it. I would buy that.

But what does it matter to tell us about it? No one here is going to judge you as being a geek since we all are.
