Are you related to anyone famous/did something incredible?

Just wanted to know about the GB genealogy as it were. 
My family is pretty crazy, but my favourite one is my sister's father in law's father (a wee bit far but still) apparently invented the roundabout. 
Alas not of the magic variety. 

I'm related to Adam and Eve.

My brother used to date a national celeb, before she was a national celeb.
That's about as exciting as my family is.

Not that I know of although everyone who's white seems to assume I'm either related to Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee.

I invented TV, some of my buds invented the internet, I made that movie The Godfather, Some of my family are related to Napoleon and I flew to the moon once, no big deal though.

Something like my great-uncle founded Dunkin' Doughnuts, and his brother founded Mr. Doughnut, which combined to create the monstrosity that exists today.

One of Bruce Willis' stuntmen from Die Hard married into my extended family. Never met him, but my Dad assures me that it's him. You know that famous shot of McClane jumping from an explosion from a rooftop?

I'm somehow related to Gene Roddenberry. Grandma's distant cousin or something.

I'm not related to anyone famous, at least not that I know but my friend is related to Vinnie Jones. He didn't even know until he was at his Grandma's funeral and he was there.

no, not really famous but somebody on my dad's side was a Sergent for marines. he was in Beirut bombing in 1983.

I'm actually related to Robert E Lee. Somewhat distantly but still related.

My brother jumped onto the santiago bernabeu (real madrid stadium) and got to david beckam. that's the most impressive thing I could think of right now.

You know what I realized while reading these comments? I don't believe a single person who said that they actually were related to a famous person. Well, except for the Jon McClain-Stuntman relation guy. That one sounded true.

There aren't really any famous people in my family, but my uncle used to be a member of the Royal Life Guard in Denmark. Not that special, but he did get to experience both the crown prince and his little brother grow up, and talked to them frequently when they got older. He was also the police commissioner of one of the bigger border cities in the country, so having him in the car when you returned from Germany was always useful. As soon as the border guards recognized him, they just let us pass. Easy way to get loads of liquor over the border. And his (great?) grandfather is depicted in a painting from 1894, so that's kinda cool.
 
My mom helped raise an orangutan... that actually became quite famous in Europe, and was at the time of his death, the oldest orangutan in Europe.
 
My other uncle used to be an adviser for IMF. I always thought that was pretty cool, considering he started his life as the son of a poor farmer in Denmark.

My last name is Khan I might be related to Genghis Khan or maybe Khan from Star Trek

I'm related to Gus Grissom, one of the first men to go into space.

My uncle helped design the Stealth Bomber. That things kind of a big deal.

Not anyone I know of. Though I have royalty on both sides of my family. Also my dad invented something, can't really remember what it was.

I was friends with these guys who owned a chicken store (because it was right next to my moms work), and Avril Lavigne worked there. She even sings about it in one of her songs, My World I believe. Something about 'getting fired by the fat chicken ass" or something like that.

My friends's cousing is the singer for Barenaked Ladies. Or at least, that's what my friend told me. I have no famous relatives, but there are a lot of stores in Oxford with my family's name. I don't think they're related though.

In New Zealand I'm related to a guy that hosts a 'Cops' esque show.

I just realized how boring my family is.
