That commercial was stupid, and I love how it is supposed to "harass a gay person", but the ending says "Eat some nuts." Probably not the thing you want to say at the end.
A gay group complained because Mr T said "You're a disgrace to the male race," because speedwalking made him look like a douchebag. Speedwalkers actually look like that, and they probably should get shot with a Snickers or two. Nothing to do at all with harassing a gay person.
They just wanted to complain about something loudly, get themselves in the news.
And the commercial is better than 99% of shitty commercials on TV.

Agreed. I didn't think the speed walker was gay. I just thought he was wimping out and walking fast when he's clearly young enough to be jogging.
Reminds me of that Heinz advert that was banned earlier this year because a guy kisses another on the lips. Apparently that was too offensive, even though it was clearly in the context of a joke.
I think gay people have the same rights as everyone else, but bitching and moaning about every little thing like this certainly isn't going to win the gay community any votes.
