I was just browsing the interwebs, as you do, when I came across quite possibly the worst advertisement I have ever seen. Bear in mind this is for shirt sales. SHIRTS.
I mean, seriously, who the hell designed that?
Awful Advertisements
You know, cause I always buy my shirts ten at a time. Though if you think about it. You'r saving $10!!!!!!
Just the fact that you are talking about it makes it a good ad - which is most likely what they wanted when they posted that ad.
"Yeah, that's kinda weird, but this will put a dent in any Canadian's sense of "national pride" (what a ludicrous concept)."Haha, what if the sun hits it right and burns your eyes when you're looking at it. I liked the video though.
this one makes me sick!
"BK SUPER 7 INCHER - AS TASTELESS AS THIS AD.this one makes me sick!
"
" This has to be one of the worst I've seen. Or the best. I can't decide. Totally NSFW, by the way. "That advert makes no sense.
I really hate those disgusting lose stomach fat ads around on a bunch of websites right now, I think I saw one on facebook the other day too. It has some girl squeezing together all her stomach fat. Its really gross to look at.
I dig the get a degree ad with the giraffes. Giraffes are the serious African animal.
Also those PS3 ads were fucked, I never saw them ever on tv or anything, but I assume they were euro because I saw some ass and some boobs in a bra, that shit doesn't fly in the states, and by extention in Canada where I am.
" Yeah, that's kinda weird, but this will put a dent in any Canadian's sense of "national pride" (what a ludicrous concept). "except thats not a canadian concept and those types of crosses have been around nearly 20 years or more, i just purchased 2 of those 1 for my friend chris and 1 for my sister becca to replace the one she had that i broke like 12 years ago.
It's not that it was invented in Canada that makes it sad.
My fellow citizens like to rag on the United States for the phenomenon of conspicuous consumption in the areas of nationalism, religion, and even in one's general existence. Though they tend to conflate this with materialism itself, which is retarded in its own right (especially when you consider the concept of something like a "prayer cross" in relation to materialism.
I just wanted to show people that like our American cousins, Canadians can waste their money on stupid shit too.
" @JeffGoldblum: You know what though? Those high-gloss, endlessly-retouched pictures of girls for 'reputable' dating sites always look too fake to be taken seriously. Maybe this company's trying to provide an alternative option. "
@Suicrat: Yep, just click on the link and they'll send a 250 pound pre-op man named alice straight to your door. Enjoy!
