When I heard the news, I was really hoping it wouldn't be true. Very sad. The Beastie Boys are part of my hip-hop foundation, every one of them, and losing MCA is really tragic.

God fucking dammit.

I'm speechless. This is fucked, man. My heart goes out to the rest of the Boys and everyone that this loss hits. MCA was the shit, and to lose one of the pioneers of rap...let alone a white guy rapping...is just a goddamn shame in ways that cannot be described.

He was always my favorite rapper in the group and he was their bassist (means a lot to me because I'm a bassist myself)... Dammit, cancer, quit killing everyone! You've taken friends, family, musical inspirations, and will even take my dog >:(

Also I was a little annoyed when everyone was upset about Junior Seau's death, but this now makes me a little sad and has me feeling like a hypocrite. Which I guess, I am.
