Boxing Blog #1
Age: 29
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 240lbs.
My workout schedule for the week, starting next monday:
Mon: Short night Jog, Bicycle crunch, Vertical leg crunch,
Wed: Jump rope, Side obliques
Fri: Afternoon Jog, Bicycle crunch, Vertical leg crunch,
Sat: Jump rope, Side obliques
On top of these, there will be either one or two days spent at the gym training with my coach. I will fill those in as it goes.
This is a very easy, beginners style exercise calender. within two weeks I want to increase my days jogging to three and ad more ab exercises.
I will be cutting out soda and simply drink water.

Good luck keeping the exercise regime up, god knows im too lazy to keep doing it.
Also random question, whats your stance on MMA? I personally love it and (not to start shit) prefer it much more than boxing. I respect boxing but i just love the idea of the fighter having to be so much more well rounded and having to work on striking as well as a ground game both defensibly and offensively. Bull charging in and just throwing bombs is just gonna lead to you getting taken down in seconds and submitted.
To answer some Q's: starting up again. My eventual goal is to have at least one fight in the NY golden gloves.
I grew up on boxing, but I also love MMA. I did quite a few stories and interviews about seven years ago while writing for my college newspaper. I see them as two very different sports, though I think boxing has a lot of work to do in order to get themselves back in the spolight. That's another blog post altogether though.
And yes, my intention was to attach it to the forums so that I can have maximum exposure.
Keep your eyes peeled here, I promise future blogs will be a bit more informative and have more pictures (some of me to help track my weight loss. I'm just lazy this week and my son has a cold.
