Deliberations are over and the verdict will be read in about half an hour. Been following the trial since last week. Hope this subhuman gets life in prison.

The whole show (prosecution, defense, etc) was incompetent, so the only thing you can do is let her go. She won't serve any time for the lying to law enforcement charges since they are misdemeanors here in Florida and have to jail time attached to them. Plus, she has already been in jail throughout this whole ordeal.

This goes to show again that if you are a hot white chick with big tits, you can get away with a lot of things.

I'm not surprised by the verdict, as there really wasn't enough hard evidence for a murder conviction.  That doesn't mean I'm happy about it, though.

As someone who rarely pays attention to stuff like this, can someone fill me in as to why this is such a big deal? Pretty much all of my usual internet hangouts are absolutely flipping shit over this, but as far as I can tell it's just another incompetent mother?

Yea, there was no solid proof and this is another case of the media and particurally Nancy Grace saying what they think and not whats fact to change the peoples opinions.

Im not saying she didn't do it because we dont know, but you cant lock someone up or kill them if you dont know for sure.

Been a big deal for 3 years here in Florida.

Ugh. As terrible as this whole boondoggle has been, at least it's almost over. Hopefully it'll be a couple months before another young white mothers kid goes missing in Florida under suspicious enough circumstances for the media to latch on to it.

And maybe next time Nancy Grace will make the lady kill herself so it will end it quickly.

Judges never allow lie detector tests to be submitted as evidence since they are too unreliable and often manipulated (knowingly or unknowingly).

You can call her not hot, but she is definitely not ugly. She's been stuck in prison and barred from wearing any kind of makeup (even mascara and eye liner) throughout the trial.

If you have been constantly accused of killer your own kid and people calling for the death penalty for years, you wouldn't look good either.
