Do you use skype or find it useless?

These two poll options seem like pretty big extremes, I wish there was one in the middle. Personally I use Skype very little but I find it useful for video chats.

Both my microphone and my webcam are busted so it's pretty useless to me at the moment. When both were working though, woo boy, skype was my lifeline. 

More my needs miranda and mumble are better. I actually hate it when people make me install it, because they should be the onces switching to better voip alternatives. But there are many situations where skype is handy.

For me it's useless but I don't really see it as useless because I know a lot of people who use it. I mostly used vent though.

I used to use it while I lived abroad, but not so much these days.

Mainly use it at work, good for sharing screen and video chat.

I like it a lot but I wish my friends would use it too.

I use it to record a podcast but other than that I don't really find a use for it.

Skype phones are miracle devices.

I love skype, great voice quality and it's free.
