What are your favorite forums to frequent besides Giantbomb, NeoGAF, and Slashdot?
I'm interested in any sites with some back-and-forth, i.e forums where people talk to each other, rather than just posting a reply to the OP after skipping 20+ pages of discussion, then leaving never to return.
EDIT: If you're wondering about the title, it's because I already know about NeoGAF. If I don't mention it, 90% of the responses will be NeoGAF.
Favorite Forums? (Not NeoGAF)
A small forum called EvermoreForums. It is a tiny, tiny community but it gives it this familial feeling that I like.
This is the only forum I post on. I lurk some other forums though, mostly having to do with music and vinyl records.
SeasonedGamers. I've been a member for 5 years now nearing 20,000 posts. Guh....
It's a gaming community conceived for regular gaming adults. It was birthed out of the Halo 2 launch, like minded people wanting to game it up with out dealing directly with the throngs of infuriating children. The site is in the vein of Geezer Gamers except we have a user-base that's more in their mid 20's / 30's. Also there's more tolerance for just being a goofy idiot similar to this fabulous site.
For all of you who want the truth behind the economic bullshit. They effectively give you the true "economic reality" that is taking place, no punches held back. And they do so with an unbelievable knowledge in micro and macro analysis.
P.S. You really do need at least some economic understanding before posting, otherwise you will feel overwhelmed.
P.P.S. I'm almost done with gaming forums as a whole, I barely post in any given week.
The only forums I go to that aren't Giant Bomb are tiny forums with like 10 people that I wouldn't want to mention, thereby ruining their purity.
There's lots of small forums that are nice, just because everyone knows each other.
As for big forums, Teamliquid is the only bearable one that I know. One of the few places where you get banned for trash OPs, snarky 1-liners, and blatantly misinformed opinions. It's not terrific but its much better than other forums of that size. Plus its always fun to read the ban list.
GB are the only ones I ever got into. I never understood how they worked for the longest of time and just ignored them for the most part because of that. Back when I was playing City of Heroes I got into their game forums pretty deep for awhile and that's what got me familiar with how they worked. Right now it's still just here. I will pop into the Steam forums if I'm having problems, but that's about it.

@Mahonay: Geez, how do you keep up an 11 post a day average? The highest my average has ever gotten is 3.
Hah well we have a very active user-base that's constantly working on different things on the forum for our community, and just the fact we're all so similar and we've known each other for a while now lends it's self to pretty constant posting. I don't think I could keep it up otherwise. I don't think that will ever happen here for me, but who knows, I've only been posting here the last year or so. We have a smaller user-base (about 1,000) which also makes it easier to get in and start posting.
