Twilight's better than this. At least it's good for a few laughs; this parody just looks idiotic.

I think they have the right idea, but the execution looks horrible.

I'm going to start by saying I hold a pretty neutral stance regarding the Twilight franchise and have read none of the books and seen none of the movies, however I already saw this trailer a while ago ago on Screened and it looked like the worst movie I'd seen in a long time. There are very few good parody movies out there and the people behind Epic Movie, Disaster Movie etc. have certainly not produced quality work. Vampires Suck looks like it was thrown together in the laziest way possible with no genuine thought or wit in regards to the script. I am aware that the movie is completely non-serious and going for the "silly humour" angle but I enjoy good silly humour and this movie looks like it's failing miserably at even that. I'm sure the majority of box office sales this movie does make will be purely because it is a Twilight parody but I'd rather watch Twilight (or indeed almost any other movie) rather than this absolute rubbish any day.

The only part of that I liked  was "Its raining men"

 
It'd be much more interesting to see a good director like Lars von Trier do a vampire flick than these two hacks.

Why can't funny people start making these?  I love the premise, but those guys couldn't tell a good joke to save their lives.

man i swore the last time i watched a parody movie it was the last time,but I will probably end up watching this one too and hating myself for it.

Considering the writers, it'll probably be horrible. But I'm an eternal optimist, apparently.
