Flying to Megadeth/Slayer Concert, this friday.

For the people that have read my earlier blogs know that I am terrified of planes, I had actually had a panic attack while onboard, we were not flying at the time but I had to be taken off the flight, which was fucking embarrasing and I told myself that I would never get on a flight again.

Now I love metal and music in general, but my all time favorite band since I was a kid is Megadeth, they don't come to Canada much and when they did I was to young to fly out and see them, but the chance has come up and I bought plane tickets and a floor pass to the concert, the only problem now is getting on the few flights and landing at my destination.
So wish me luck and offer any tips on what you think I should do to prepare for this trip.

Oh and here's a tip:  wear safety gear, as I'm sure you know those crowds are freakin' wreckless.

Lucky you, Megadeth will be more than more the trip, seen them a couple times and they've never disappointed [ they actually almost showed up Judas Priest once...].

YES! Im seeing that show in Calgary this Saturday. VIP tickets to Suicide Silence, Machine Head, Megadeth and fucking SLAYER!? 

I'm not advocating drug use, but my nephew had to start flying for his new job. He used anti anxiety medication to help him on his first couple of trips. He's good now... just like an old pro.

Hmm, a Megadeth and Slayer concert? That should be awesome, unless maybe they're too old to put on a good show anymore. I doubt it though.

How long is the flght? Maybe if it's short enough you can distract yourself with music or games. Hell, maybe play games while listening to some Megadeth or Slayer.

where are they going to be? i would say get some kind of relaxers pills for when ur going on the plane. have fun at that concert. i'm going to be seeing slayer sometime in August at mayhem fest. it's going to be a good concert.

O_O man you are one lucky man! Megadeth and Slayer?! *sigh*

Anyway, I used to be afraid of planes and heights myself! If you're sitting at a window seat, try not to look down while you are gaining altitude. Once you feel comfortable, then you look out there are be amazed at the sights. I have seen the ocean at sunset and it looks absolutely beautiful. It will grow on you, I promise! Also try to get a bag of peanuts because...well...they're good! Lol
