OP you are a gentleman and a scholar.

Been using Prime for over a year and I usually find that if I use the free 2 day shipping, often enough it arrives in 1 day if I order on time.

Man... Hulu, Netflix streaming, private liquor stores, and now this? I really need to move to the states. Darn canada has nothing but.. polite people and horribly restrictive media companies.

I've read it doesn't work for @something.school.edu addresses. I think they want to limit the number of alumni who sneak in on the deal. But it works for me since my alma mater let me keep my old email address, plus I am staff at another university.

If you go to any sort of university you almost certainly have a .edu e-mail, it may just be unknown to you. Pretty much all of them provide one. Not sure about community colleges and their ilk, but I know at least some do. "
