Have You Gotten In Trouble By A Mod On Giantbomb?

Recently I got in trouble with a mod for saying something mean to a user. Even though I wasn't being serious still I got in trouble. He threaten to suspend me if I get out of line again.

This thread isn't going to end well, by which I mean it will certainly end.

Sure. I think a couple of years ago I got a warning for insulting another user during an argument (he got a warning too), got one for copy/pasting relevant sections in a wiki page to another (didn't realize it was bad when I was doing it) and I got one this month or the last for posting an inappropriate image.

I got scolded, but not in trouble. Nothing bad happened to me.

I made a thread purely for quest boosting once, as an obvious (and obviously unfunny) joke. The mod that locked it was "disappointed."

That's as bad as it's gotten. I'm a good boy. Ain't no internet drama here.

Surprisingly, I never have been.

I don't think they even know who I am because I don't draw attention to myself. So everything is going according to plan. Phase 1: complete.

I have been PMed before and disagreed with certain mod's argument but I let them have their little silly power trip and went on my way.

I received a warning once, but that's the extent of my criminal career on GB.

Accidentally broke a wiki rule and got my hand slapped for it.

Got a warning for calling a guy a cunt. Next time I'll just ignore people who are cunts.

But I have started to be a little more positive in threads since then so I guess some good came of it.

One time I shouted "Fuck da police!" and they chased me through da mean streets of Giantbomb, yo.

This forum is fairly laid back. Only reason I can see someone "getting in trouble" with a mod is if you are asking for it (whether you know you are or not is irrelevant).

Common sense no longer seems to be common.

I have gotten into a small argument with a mod, but they never directly reprimanded me. There really hasn't been a need because I don't make dumb threads that serve no purpose and start no discussion. It does kind of suck when some threads get locked because people can't stop bickering though.

Should I flag all the posts saying "flagged" as a response? Because I'm pretty sure that will use up ALL my flag points.
