How do you react to new kids in your school?

How do you react to just a normal new kid? And has anybody ever seen a "shadow" at their school?

You mean like in high school? Because I don't even know a tenth of the people who go to my college.
 
Anyways, I wasn't a guy who would go out and introduce myself. If I was in proximity of them, I would introduce myself, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do anything out of the ordinary.

Just treat them like anybody else...?  If they seem confused then ask how you can help them.

When i see a shadow i usually pull out my golf club and whack them with it.

I remember new chicks.  Oh, I remember them well.

I reacted well to new kids in my school. 
But new kids on the block, thats another matter.

i was at the high end of the status pole in high school so it depended on how the new person acted.  If they thought they were hot shit they were put in their place quickly, if they were fairly cool they could work their way into the group.
 
and of course i'm talking all relative to the clique the people fit into, not everyone would hang out with the cool people or vice versa.

New kids are usually douchebags.

Like I react to everyone else: uninterested. 

When I was in school I would treat them the same way my dog treats new people at my house......I would walk up them and try to hump their leg.

A new guy came to my class a while back. I could tell that he was no one I'd be interested in knowing I so I just ignored him. It's what I do most of the time a new guy shows up.

I ignore people, cause I don't like people  
If they do come and talk to me, I'm friendly if I'm having a good day, harsh if not

Well, I'm homeschooled, so I'd probably ask my mom why there was a weird kid sitting in my room.

When you went to High School in New York City and there were over 3,000 kids; you really don't notice. Although, every person that learned of me senior year always said "You've been here all four years? I'VE NEVER SEEN YOU BEFORE!"

What do you mean "shadow"? What's that? I have seen plenty of shadows, especially when it's sunny... the garbage can has a shadow and so do people. 
 
But yeah I'd just treat someone new in college normally. Maybe introduce myself and find out more about them. And if they're hot single ladies, maybe have sex with them. Just maybe.

If they ask for help i would help them, otherwise i don't really care.

Considering the fact that I was the new kid at my school this year, I try and be friendly towards them because its become a lot easier to relate to them.  Moving and having to start over again in high school is tough.

I tend to put them in a bin. Then i burn the bin.

Well, I lack practical knowledge as my school doesn't allow incoming transfers(except in certain situations, such as the kid moving in from another state or country). Otherwise, I probably wouldn't pay him any mind.

Well it depends, if it was just some dude I would probably ignore him, a hot exchange student on the other hand. . . 

Well I beat them up, obviously. I react violently to change, as it may threaten my position as leader of the herd.

I usually greet them with a knife to teach them some proper English. 

Back when I actually went to school, I didn't care one way or another. Why would I? Treated him/her as I would anyone else.

Tell  them to leave, if they knew what was good for them.

I transfer them to the Girls dormitory and watch them every night during the Midnight Hour to see if they have the potential.

Back in secondary school I didn't really pay much attention to anyone new, I had my group of friends and I was happy with them.

I go to University so I see new people everyday...

I've been the new kid many times. So whenever I see a new kid come into school, I treat them like everyone else. I stayed away from them.
 
In College, I'm glad at times that I get to be with different people each semester. Kinda depressing though because I can't make good friends that way...

If they talked to my friends or to me then I would talk to them. The only time I would initiate a conversation with a new kid is if I was sitting next to him in a class or something.

It takes me a while to actually talk to them. But generally, I don't for a while. Unlike this guy I know, who asks every new chick out, except for this one girl...
