I've been following the site pretty much since launch but only made an account a little over a year ago... I dont know what the hell I was waiting for...

Same deal here. I was sad when Jeff left Gamespot and followed his blog until he told me to check out his new website... which just so happens to be this place.
Yep. It was real late on the east coast, I refreshed the blog version to see a graphic of a man riding a nuke, and info that the site was launching. I stayed up and made my account that night- good times.
30 seconds after finding the site. I knew the guys from the Gamespot days and how they were the reason why I went there. It was a no brainer to join up.
