If you became famous, would u promote Giantbomb?

You see more and more celebrities talk about gaming. Ex Robin Williams. And i thought about myself, if I became famous for some reason and i was talking to Jon Stewart or Conan or whoever, I would definitely mention Giantbomb and tested. I come here too often for that to never come up anyway.....

So would you do the same? How would u describe them(the crew) to the unknowing viewing audience?

Maybe. I don't think they'd really want my promotion, cause I'm too mainstream maaaan. Kidding. I dunno. Depends what I would be famous for.

@LiquidPrince: I dont think it matters what your famous for, unless you were a politician which could lead to less traffic.

I do worry though, could the promotion of the site bring in unwanted attention? like organizations attacking the site for racist comments or something (even though its obviously light hearted banter). Or that the people who come hear are just hear because some one cool(ie the celebrity) likes it and dont care at all in any way for the site?

Yeah, I probably would. If I'm being interviewed and am asked about my interests, Giantbomb would come up. Now I just need to find a way to find fame and fortune.

Generally, if someone asks me for a game recommendation, I give them one then point them in the direction of the relevant Quick Look. They're far more informative than any review.

If I was famous it likely would already be known that I would be a gamer. Therefore if I was asked a question about my gaming and interests and all the rest, I'd definitely mention Giant Bomb as being one of the sites relating to it. It's free promotion and it makes sense as well since it's not a blatant method of directing people to a site - it's a relevant and truthful answer, and that matters more.

@Xel: quicklooks are all i need now. Reading or watching a review is so bland and they add pesky numbers. A quicklook shows me gameplay and story and anything unique is described by the host. If i like it i will go play it, no numbers needed. And if i wrongfully skip it, then i will hear about later somewhere online or in the bombcast and reconsider. Its is beautiful system that allows me the ability to pick up information on the day to day with out ever having to actively search out how good a game is (barring a couple of exceptions....sonic games)

Of course, part of being a celebrity is telling others what things you like on twitter and your blog.

Then I'd ask to be on the bombcast and pay for their world tour to Sweden, because I'm a celbrity and have money. Then I'd build an underwater city for them like Rapture in Bioshock and of course buy EA or something and make them create the game I want (and I'll make them make a game for Jeff as well since why not, I've got money). Then I'd create a colony on Mars and name my company Ultor and it will be a real life Red Faction. And then...sorry what were we talking about?

But If they'll ask in general like, "what games do you play?"

Me: "All kinds of games, except sports since I play it at real life and I also don't play fighting games"
