What genre is that?
I'm a musician, yo.

I've never been able to get into noise or drone (or whatever the hell you're going for). TBH I think most of it is total crap. I'm pretty open minded, but I've never been able to get into those genres and I stopped trying long ago. There are only a couple of drone albums that I actually enjoy. It's probably because my favorite type of music is ambient and relaxing music. I even have CDs of nature sounds (they are extremely relaxing to me) that I sometimes put on to fall asleep. Say what you want about my beloved nature CDs, but I just love to close my eyes and let the music (or sounds) take me away. Although I have to say noise and drone have always interested me because it supposedly evokes the same feelings in people that I get when listening to my relaxing ambient stuff. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
@Equal_Opportunity_Destroyer497: Was not recorded on a computer. It was originally recorded in analog, on a tape recorder dating back to 1978, before being digitalized.why would you ever do that, were in the modern age, please dont use analog anymore, its not good

How do you get a musician on demand? Order a pizza.Agreed, but musicians start from somewhere right?
I found that one funny because I know a bunch of people that are unemployed or doing some really low end job but claim to be musicians. (read: in a really shit band/making terrible music in their bedroom)

I think the term music should be applied to anything intended to be both music and an acoustic experience. John Cage's 4'33 was a reaction to hearing his own blood cells rush past his ears in the world's first silent room, he decided that the sounds of the body working was the subject of the piece. No rhythm, harmony or melody in sight. The only possible relation to commonplace music might have been structure.
A whole genre of classical music was born out of making music without instruments and typical rules etc. Electroacoustic music. An example is found here.
The last word on music is this.
Just kidding it totally sucks yo why would you do that it's so stupid.
PFFFFfffff!I listen to some odd things, and I would never listen to this. The Johnny Cage Sonata was kind of cool though.
Out of all the ridiculous stuff in this thread, that last sentence is the only one to make me laugh. John Cage is not Johnny Cage.
EDIT: But I wish he was.

We are all one.
fuck you guys this owns
chris, don't let these miseryfucks get you down. this is the kind of shit you want to do, then do it. just because the most musical interaction these fools have ever had involved listening to britney spears their dick and their sister's oboe doesn't mean they know shit.
keep up the good work
Honestly I'd rather listen to the trance mission from Rez more than what you are offering personally. As random as it is, you could see some effort being made to make it sound the way it is.
This seems to me like Troll music. That is, music that is not pleasing in any way shape or form, but seems made for the sole purpose of making others hesitatingly admit that it is indeed music.dont use the word troll. Try instead: prank.
@Coombs said:It's not common from what I have seen. In the U.S. it's usually talentless people the majority likes.@chrismafuchris: DJ's are not musicians, /threadBs, when you have them decks, you have the setup, you have the speakers. the can make music. Not 1 of my cares tbh, but i can still enjoy musuc made from dj's (purly alone) maybe not common in america.
The only time I like noise is in the NIN album "The Slip." The last JCS song reminds me of strange music I love on the Akira movie. I think you're music is more suited for movie soundtracks, something that can make the audience's heart speed up, or make them hold their breath with the suspense of the story. Listening to your tracks as music, I don't find them very enjoyable personally, but like I said, if you're seriously into this you could give some films that little bit of edginess they need.
