In America, do they.... ... actually think that snapping your fingers then whistling is an appropriate way to get a hold of your server in a restaurant? Cuz in Canada servers think the only thing more offensive would be slapping their butt.

No they don't, your just letting the bad examples cloud your view. I could say the same thing about Canadians and not tipping based on my own experiences.
I was a waiter for a year or so and I never got anything that rude. Just people being pissy about their food. It probably depends on the restaurant though.

On top of that 100% of those annoying yanks are upper middle class white women. As for Canadians and not tipping, they were either those wannabe-french-quebeccer-d-bags, or broke. In Canada and Europe, waiters/waitresses are paid significantly better than in the US, and gratuity is often already included in the bill. Not tipping as much has nothing to do with being cheap.

Oh, you're saying they tip badly when visiting America. I didn't get that originally.
What was your thought process initially? That I am just some dude who heard that Europeans don't tip and am thus talking shit about them for it? If I worked in Europe obviously I wouldn't have a problem with it because I would be paid better. But in the states when you struggle with a group of Germans that don't speak English, it's a lot of work and can be stressful if your busy, but fine, it's your job and It's not like I know German. But then they don't tip at all? RAGE.

1. People come here for the money. 2. Few other countries have an equal population (we're #3. according to wikipedia), or amount of natural resources. 2. Most other countries are are surrounded by other countries they must compete with; we had some competition at the beginning, but that didn't last long. And again, we had crazy access to resources. 4..... I'm not going to get into that. 5. See access to resources. In this instance, resources include Nazis. 6. Most countries don't buy multi-million dollar weapons they'll never use. This could also be applied to your NASA question.
