Fuck that shit.
FATBURGER MAKES YOU THIN SON
In & Out Burger or Five Guys?
Five Guys, no contest. I've had In-N-Out and honestly do not understand why people are so nuts about it. Like it, sure, I work with people who swear up and down it's greatest goddamn burger ever crafted by a human.
In n out is great because of its simplicity. Burger, cheese, sauce, lettuce, tomato. Very simple but incredibly good. I've never had five guys so I won't judge.
" I've had In-N-Out and honestly do not understand why people are so nuts about it. Like it, sure, I work with people who swear up and down it's greatest goddamn burger ever crafted by a human. "I could say the same thing about Five Guys.
In-N-Out is superior, and a much better value. When my girlfriend lived in Chicago, we went to Five Guys a couple of times. It's way overpriced and it's just not that good.
Five Guys is really good.
Im a member on A Hamburger Today, and they wrote a article about this delicious place known as Bare Back Grill. They serve kiwi-inspired burgers and they seem delicious! Check it out: http://aht.seriouseats.com/archives/2011/03/bare-back-grill-new-zealand-kiwi-style-burgers-review-san-diego-ca.html
Both Five Guys and In-N-Out are fantastic. I've only had In-N-Out once, though, so an actual weighing of options is out of the question.
Though the best burger I've ever had still goes to Smokey's BBQ House in Lake Geneva.
I live in GA and have never seen an In-N-Out, do those even exist down here? Five Guys by default (though they are great anyway)
Five Guys is a better burger and they have better selection, but the dollar/tastyness factor is much better at In-And-Out. Five Guys is pretty pricey.
In-N-Out started out in southern california and slowly moved it's way up and down the West Coast and the southwest. It's a regional thing.
Five Guys started out in Virginia and the East Coast and is trying to get nationwide.
" Are we talking fast food establishments? Neither of these places are in Canada =/ "In the same boat. I've never even heard of these places before now.
I've heard of In and Out burger for sure, but 5 guys sounds like magic. I'm up in Minnesota and have never seen any of these anywhere. I always get bummed about regional stuff, because it always seems so fucking awesome to eat.
Edit: Okay holy shit apparently there is a 5 guys like 10 minutes away from where I live. Fucking awesome! I love trying out new burger places.
I would have to say The Penguin which is a local place. It actually has a documentary about the place coming out soon.
I don't particularly like either. In & Out is hardly anything special. I find 5 Guys to be incredibly bad. Maybe it's just the one where I live, but it is extremely greasy and I find that disgusting.
I much prefer places like SmashBurger or Islands if I want a good hamburger. They both have better quality toppings and aren't greasy or salty.
In-N-Out. Five Guys tastes great, but damn son, those are some messy ass burgers. They almost always end up falling apart on me, and there're onions and mushrooms falling off the burger. In N Out's burgers are more simple and basic but there's a great purity in that and you've never got a mess on your hands.
