Well isn't it kind've hard to keep track of people when they constantly change their username? "
How about you charge for it? That way people don't do it all the time and it's not a bad way to make some lunch money. I'd pay money to change it.

Some websites have allowed this. I know that GameSpot used to allow this in the past, but certain abuses by users led to that privilege being revoked.
I think they don't let you change your username because of the mess it used to cause on Comicvine. When it started, up to about a year or so ago on Comicvine you could change your username but......there was always problems with it so they got rid of it.
@Sincillian: Again, I think charging for it would lessen the amount of people doing it. But the ones who really want could have a choice. Doesn't Xbox Live allow you to change your name for a price?

yeah that's one way, but this site isn't that large that they couldn't just do it by request. make up some kind of list, go and change them all at the end of the month or w/e

Xbox Live does let you change it for a fee but I'm talking about the technical problems. Sometimes when people did it their pages would delete itself or disappear and then sometimes there were problems with passwords. It was just too much of a hassle fixing everything to do with it so they got rid of it.
@Metal_Gear_Sunny: I did, I liked this username when I picked it, I just like my other username better. We change, maybe our usernames should change with it?
