That is a pretty dangerous place to live. Thankfully it doesn't rain there often and they'll probably have plenty of warning when it does.

I lived less than a mile off the strip & I had no idea there were ~700 people living under me.  Fkn amazing.

Pretty insane. Was there an article or vid somewhere that inspired this thread? BTW anyone who finds this interesting should check out the film Dark Days, which is about homeless living in and under subway tunnels in NYC.

Also, how risky is it to live in a drain tunnel in the middle of the desert, really?

it is very interesting thing to do. it must be cool for like a week to do that. go through machines finding change then buying some food with it. 
 
i was just thinking they could get a huge extension cord to a place down there they could play some ps2 or some cheap video game system.
