Live in Australia and love Scott Pilgrim/Kick-Ass? Come watch 'em

So both Scott Pilgrim and Kick-Ass flopped in the box office and it really made me upset they didn't do better. I for one, loved Scott Pilgrim and hope it makes a profit and even though I haven't seen Kick-Ass yet I can't wait to! So if you live in Australia check this out -  http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=177312108978027 there will be a double screening of both of them on Wednesday, March 23 from 7:30PM - 11:30PM at   Astor Theatre. 1 Chapel St (corner of Chapel St & Dandenong Road), St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia. 
 
Not only will you get to see the movies but It will be great to support the makers of the films (I am assuming they get the money from the movie tickets?). 
 
So let's go! Hopefully I will see a couple of you guys wearing some Giant Bomb T-Shirts, eh? ;)

You know what? Neither of these movies interest me at all =/ Call me when there's a Coen-Brothers-A-Thon.

I live in Australia... however I disliked both those movies so I don't think so. Also I currently live in Perth and have no plans to be in Melbourne in the immediate future.

Bothe movies are really good. I hope people get the chance to see them.

I enjoyed Scott Pilgrim much more than Kick-Ass...ill say maybe because of work/uni

I'm assuming he means people generally don't want to fly all over the country to go see two movies. "

The Astor is a    really cool cinema, pretty much every night they do a double feature. The Kill Bill Vol1 & 2 one is very popular. P.S Im not going to this.

Scott Pilgrim flopped at the box office, but Kick-Ass did alright.

I like how this thread managed to attract all of the Australians who are in no position to make it. Geography sure makes logistics fun!

I know right?  I'm in Sydney NSW and obviously can't go as this is a Melbourne joint.  I heard good things about these odd movies however have not had a chance to go see them. "

I've been meaning to go to the Astor for years now, but I'm kinda saving it for the 70mm print of Baraka.

Canada says enjoy the movie.

I live in Sydney and I saw them both in theaters with friends. Good movies but I'm way too busy to go. Probably wouldn't go all the way to melb just for them anyway, especially when I have blu-ray copies and a nice TV.

Oh and I wouldn't even fly interstate to watch the best film in the universe, whatever that would be.

The only, ONLY good thing about Kick-Ass was the little girl, but I like Scott Pilgrim vs the world to the point that is one of my favourite movies.

Oh, the tickets are now $9 only!

I need a date to go with me.

Both those movies were awesome. I however live on the other side of the planet. Stupid Canada.
