In Flames, Soilwork, Scar Symmetry etc. I love melodic death metal/Gothenburg metal.

Hmm.. There is a ton of metal I enjoy, but I suppose my favorite is Oomph!. if you are counting Rammstein, then Oomph! definitely counts =P Although I wouldn't tie them to a single genre.

Alright I'm not saying I like attack Attack (or whatever), but this is kind of a dumb thing to say.  If bands just "stayed" in there genre and didn't try new things or experiment, we would all be sitting around talking about the newest classical music album, not the greatest metal. "

In my opinion they're like a jack of all trades but master of none kind of band. The metal parts seemed "OK" for being metal, and I thought the techno-y parts were catchy and pretty good for techno. It was just the way they blended them that didn't work out well for me. "
