I'm just gonna say any movie that is highly acclaimed. I haven't seen a lot of those.

I'm not really a movie person.

That's a damn shame, sir.
I'm a pretty big movie person, so there's not really much that I HAVEN'T seen.  When my bro worked at Blockbuster, we'd go on movie binge nights and watch four or five in a row before we went to sleep.  About the only movie I can think of, off the top of my head, is Pumpkinhead.  I'm a horror movie fan, yet I've never sat down and watched that before.

Schindler's List.  It's cool, can't expect everyone to spell that one right, so I won't call the Grammar Police on you.  That's a fantastic movie, btw, mostly because Liam Neeson is the fuckin' man!!!

I saw the Shawshank Redemption...it really isn't all that great I thought."
.......comment is failure.
As a side note though, I lived in Perrysville, Ohio for a handful of years when I was a little kid.  It's a VERY small town right outside of Mansfield, where this movie was primarily filmed.  I've got relatives that worked at that prison...and it definitely wasn't a happy place.

That movie is soooooo much fun!!!  Is it a great movie?  Yes, just because it buys full-on into the philosophy of being completely over-the-top and ridiculous, but making cool action sequences because of it.

I agree.  I just caught this on HBO earlier tonight, as a matter of fact.

Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti really sold me with the sensationalist, deadpan action.  Hilarious film.

I feel opposite about that film. I was very aware that they were being over the top on purpose, but stuff like that helicopter chopping that dude up, and the sex thing were just too much.

It's poking fun at the steriotypical Hollywood, summer action flick. The movie doesn't take itself seriously in fact it's almost satirical. After Clive destroys that whole squad of trained soldiers in his appartment, Paul Giamatti replies, "He is either that good, or really bad." (Something along those lines) This is pretty candid in making fun of action movie conventions that immortalize the protagonist and cause utter incompetency in henchmen.

That movie is fucking ballin'!

Mine would be about 100 films long if I could remember them all. I'm not a huge movie guy. I only really bother to watch a movie if it comes on the TV at a convenient time. I've never bought a DVD, my collection of 5 DVD's were all gifts. I haven't been to the cinema in about a year and a half, and even when I do go to the cinema it's because my friends are going, not because I want to see the movie.

You should take a weekend and rent all of these.  Watch My Cousin Vinny first, then Trainspotting, then Crash, then No Country for Old Men.

I fucking love the Coen Brothers.

Crank was better at that than Shoot 'Em Up. Better in general than Shoot 'Em Up. Still a great film though.

You should probably just watch Reservoir Dogs, instead.  Or just the bits of Pulp Fiction with Sam Jackson and John Travolta, since the script of the Boondock Saints pretty well lifts the religious-but-quirky-hitman motif from that.

It's a bad movie by all accounts, but Statham is amazing in it. Shows he's got so much more to him than the Transporter films.

I've never seen:

- Rushmore
- Scarface
- Apocalypse Now (I know, I know... don't yell at me).

But I don't really like movies, so I'm in no hurry to watch them.
