Is it too effeminate to wear pink shirts/t-shirts regularly as a guy? I've been known to dabble, but people are starting to comment..
Pink T-Shirts on dudes?
Pink is just a pale version of red. And red is a pretty damn manly colour.
Don't let those shirt nazis tell you what you can or cannot wear.
I wouldn't go for straight pink. But pink can be quite fashionable. I believe Tommy Vercetti had a totally sweet pink pinstriped outfit in Vice City.
"There should be a quest for appropriately using certain image macros!
Finally got to use this! Thank you. "
Thanks to 'QI' i know that until the 20th century, pink was considered a colour for boys rather than girls. Girls wore blue because it was considered a pale, feminine colour and had religious connotations linking it to the virgin mary. This was the case right up until the 1930's. So if anyone gives you hassle, quote Stephen Fry at them. Alternatively you can always say "it's not pink, its salmon".
It totally depends on the shirt you know? Some pink shirts look awesome but some just look weird. It's way easier to pull off a bright pink type colour if your shirt has a wicked design on it like the dude who posted the Noby Noby T-shirt earlier in this thread so go for something like that if you want less comments. Pale pink polo shirts are pretty lame, but then again so are pretty much all polo shirts. Pink fitted dress shirts are killer though, you have to have one of those in your wardrobe!
Nah baths are really weird, I haven't had one in almost a decade. Who the heck wants to boil away in their own filth. I suppose I could get on board with baths though if I had one of those awesome old brass models which sit above the floor. Those things actually look cool since you can sit in them without getting all cramped up and feeling awkward.
I agree with Gunslinger though, I prefer showers, morning showers are awesome,
I think my last bath was when I was 10, not including Spa's, or Spa baths,
Actually just thinking about standing up in the floating crud that would come off of your body is starting to make me never want to have a bath again,
I'm 6 foot 6 so can't fit in any baths, however the shower at my house is one of those stupid 'put the shower head on the wall and then stand in the bath' ones, so I can't fit in that without having my head touching my chest either!
That picture was pretty much what I was worried about. I should retire the pink polo shirt now I think.
Like many have said, it depends on the shirt.
1994 Science Fair Finalist got a maroon t-shirt. I was a scrawny 13 year old and when asked what size I replyed "large". Well it took 16 years for me to grow into/shrink the hell out of that shirt. It is also now more pink than maroon. I do love that shirt.
I find that pink shirts look better on people with darker skin. Not so much pale skin. I do have a pink t-shirt but I normally wear my shirts so you don't often see it. Hot pink shirts are pretty good too.
I don't really care if someone wears a pink shirt...but I do take note for a later occasion that it was a conscious choice for them to wear the pink shirt.
Pink formal shirts are the awesome. Wear them. Pink ties are equally excellent, and should also be considered. Can't see why a pink t shirt should be any less stylish.
@RedneckedCrake: For what particular purpose? Do you work for a very highly focused branch of the security services?
"Damn, I was gonna say that.Sir, I believe this shirt is for you:
Seriously though, I don't see anything wrong with wearing a certain colour of shirt.
"
Heres one for ya, what about purple? like this sahde of purple:
Purples probaly my favorite color, but I dont actually own any purple shirts or flannels or anything like that.
I have this awesome pink shirt with an arrow on the back pointing directly to my asshole, and above the arrow it says "Manpussy." Some lady in Best Buy was standing behind me and I heard her snort and say "Oh my God, disgusting!" and when I turned around she was looking at me. She was looking at me man, and she looked pissed.
I don't own a pink shirt at the moment, but that's not because I'm against the colour. I just haven't found one I like. I did find a really nice pink business shirt that would look bitching with a pink tie I have, but unfortunately it wasn't in my size.
Anyway, my opinion is it depends on the shirt and how you wear it. Ain't nothing wrong with a bit of pink sometimes.
It's just a shirt color, really. The only time it's bad is if a guy is wearing pink and is making a huge deal out of it.
The really weird thing a dude could do is own and wear more flip flops than his girl. And having them all match whatever it is he's wearing... That's just discomforting.
It's fine as long as you don't think you're not one of those dudes that are like "TOUGH GUYS WEAR PINK BRAH" and think you're awesome for it. I hated those idiots.
