those hands look deformed
PSP Go Confirmed Via Qore Leak
It comes out in the fall, they didn't get more specific than that.
I think the analogue stick is in a better position. With this design your thumb will lie across the D-pad and not have to bend 90 degrees upwards like you have to with the current design.
If anything, this new design puts the D-pad in an awkward position.
if this is real, then why is no one addressing the obvious questions?
how soon til the umd games/movies are shipped back to sony because no one needs them anymore?
will it have a large enough internal memory to get you started or will you be forced to by a large memory stick just to have to enjoy the thing?
will it have a wireless store to download games from or will they make you use your ps3, if you dont own a ps3 are u screwed?
also, will it use the same interface or pull a dsi?
It's ugly, and considering they went far enough to remove the disc drive, they could have just gone the whole hog and added a second stick. Of course, they didn't, and I don't see why I should bother buying one.
Only one analog stick? Even though it doesn't support past PSP games? My message to Sony: GO FUCK YOURSELVES!!!!
Other than design and no UMD it's the same beast? Depending on pricepoint why would you get a PSP-Go?
Sony employee: "Do you think we should, since we're designing this from the ground up, add another thumb stick?"Sony Exec: ... [more]
Yes, exactly. They've re-designed it and it already seems like a failure because they didn't fix the one thing most people hate about the PSP.
I thought maybe I was going to get a PSP when they re-designed it but I guess I'm going to be getting a DSi instead. Nice going Sony.
I wonder if the battery life will be better? I might get one of these as they seem to have fixed things that kept me from buying a PSP before - UMDs to carry around, battery life, size. It would be nice to have a second analog stick, but I think that at this point its up to developers to tailor their PSP games to the controls of the PSP not just port over dual analog dependent games.
Btw, I do think this thing is stupid. But for different reasons. The problem with the PSP is the games, or lack of, not the hardware.

All of you complaining about only one analog nub, get over yourself. You weren't going to buy a PSP if you aren't one of the 50 million owners as it is right now, no matter how much you b*** and moan. The DSi has NO analog sticks, yet that thing sells like hotcakes. Grow up and understand the concept of a BUSINESS. They're here to "listen" to your ideas, then find a way to build on the ideas while still bringing in a revenue stream from previous hardware adapters.
LOL!! At the people wanting a second Analog. You people make me laugh. Besides its more than just an redesign , They are trying to entice the developers in making SMALLER GAMES like Lunimus. Not big games like Socom or God of War because you ask anyone why they buy a DS and they will tell you because the games are pick up and go.
This PSP GO wasn't design to replace what is already out but to get devs and consumers who prefer pick up an play games. Smaller games uses less funds to make which in turn gives devs a chance to try something different instead of PS2 ports of games.
Just my 2 cents about the thing.
So I guess I don't have to watch the sony press conference, then.
All this pre-E3 coverage is a little off-putting. Not giant bomb, specifically, just game media in general. It's got kind of weird.
