Also, pay close attention to the part on the site about "WebTV", which is what we had back then. My family didn't have a computer, and even if we did, I would've been the only one who knew how to operate it.
Going back and looking at what I made, I'm thinking that I need to look into a lawsuit against MySpace, as my site and MySpace pages seem to share similarities in gaudiness and bad layout.

@zameer: I had jobs pretty soon after this period mostly making government related websites. I knew I was decent enough to make a living at it, but never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd work for someplace like CNET, where one of my favorite sites, GameSpot was. Soon after I moved to LA, died my hair black (even better photos!), and started working on a DVD collection web site called Guzzlefish. That site ended up landing me the job over at CNET, where I met all these cats. The rest is history so they say.
I still love doing this kind of work, but it's really more about the fun of working with my friends then anything else.

Fortunately none of my abominations lived to this day due to the shutting down of GeoCities. I had this freeware games site with a space backround and like a digital font. The only problem was that the font didn't show up unless you had it on your computer so I added a link to it on the front page just so you could see my awesome site like it was meant to be seen!

I don't think I was ever a bad boy outside of this photo. This was virtual, I want to pick up girls profile photo stuff. At the time I was likely readying War and Peace and lots of Henry James, so definitely primarily a nerd.
