The Movie and TV Discussion Thread

Just finished Treme season 1 - love that shit man but I'm probably the only one on Giant Bomb who has watched it.

I think most really don't know what it is, including me.

Just came back from Enders Game. Surprisingly I thought it was actually a decent sci fi flick. There were a few spots of bad acting But the leads were quite good and for someone who never got around to the book, the story was interesting

So I kind of want to watch Oz but I've heard it's really violent.

For anyone who's watched it, does it have horror movie levels of gore or anything like that?

I started watching it when it first aired, but missed a few early episodes and decided to watch it on DVD or something, but I finally got around to watching all of Avatar: The Last Airbender these past two weeks.

One of the best shows I've seen.

Saw Thor 2 on Friday, it's pretty good. Quite funny.
If you enjoy the Avengers line of Marvel movies, I highly recommend it.

Watched the highly touted "lost" Australian new wave classic 'Wake in Fright' today...it did not disappoint.

Has anyone been watching Arrow this season? I caught up on Netflix last month and man I am impressed.

What do you think about Avatar: The Legend of Korra?

@tireyo: I haven't gotten around to it yet. I was going to watch it right after but after I found out it was a new avatar and everything I decided to let The Last Airbender sink in for a week or so.

I'll definitely post my thoughts here when I get caught up.

Just an early warning... you might not like Korra as much, but it's still an "ok" show.
