So I just watched the film and thoroughly enjoyed it. I looked it up and it would appear that the '23 enigma' is a real thing.
"The "23 Enigma" refers to the belief that all incidents and events are directly connected to the number 23, some permutation of the number 23, or a number related to the number 23, given enough ingenuity on the part of the interpreter."

Can you think of anything that falls under this rule?
Edit: The first 4 23rd letters in my post spell Noal, this is Loan backwards! I googled £23,000 loan and the first result was a story about a student needing £23,000

What date was the story published?
The Number 23
Lost harps on about this sort of stuff a lot. "4 8 15 16 23 42"
It's all very interesting but bullshit in my opinion.
"Lost harps on about this sort of stuff a lot. "4 8 15 16 23 42"I agree, I think people can find any number attached to a multitude of things that are "bad."

Anyway, never seen the movie, never had much interest in seeing it.
Thing is, your purposely going out and looking for this number, and when you find it your so amazed. Look hard enough and I'm sure you'll find the number 23 anywhere.
I agree, I think people can find any number attached to a multitude of things that are "bad."I was going to edit your post so that it contained exactly 23 words, but I figured that would be an abuse of power, haha.

This thread is now about Jim Carey.
The problem I have with Carey is, I can never see him as the character he's playing, I only see him as Jim Carey. Because every character he plays is so similar, its just him running around pulling funny faces.
Liar Liar, Me Myself & Irene, Bruce Almighty, Ace Ventura, every one of his movies, I never feel like I'm watching a brand new character every time, its always just Carey doing silly stuff.
The exception is The Trueman Show, which is fantastic.
Dude i was just about to pick you up your post when i saw you added the Truman show right at the end.
Awesome film.

I just counted the words in your sentence though, and it comes to 24 words! :O Conspiracy!
