But if they are "advertising to their own audience" then why use that image? The header at the bottom is used to share content from all the whiskey sites to all the other ones, so I think using a tamer image would have been more  appropriate for something thats going to be seen company wide. "

I was browsing AnimeVice once and I discovered a gallery full of anime bestiality, and it had been there for a while too.

I'd like to note that it's totally possible to have sexy anime chicks that aren't like, misogynistic High School of the Dead female caricatures. The ad isn't weird because there's boobs on it.  The ad is weird because it's exploitative and dumb and it's from a show that's exploitative and misogynist and dumb.

I clicked on the thing on the bottom for Anime Vice once, and it was because it was a story about the next season of Avatar the Last Airbender. But while I was at the site, I felt lost and out of place, didn't stay there for long at all.

They could have posted a pic from a decent anime.......

Um... yeah... sexy ladies exist in Anime.  I think the criticism is a little bit narrow-minded.  Some things just happen to be an aspect of a medium.
 
To be fair, though, Screened and GB tend to avoid those topics directly, usually dealing with them in a humorous fashion, not that they should take them head on.
 
I guess I am saying, chill, dude, you can handle an ad on the bottom of the page.
