I've seen a few forum posts in the past about people having a tough time in college and I figured it might be beneficial for some people to find out they may live fairly close together. If a couple users on GB find out they go to the same school, and they already have a shared interest in vidja games, then, well, I'm sure you get the point. And just to make this topic a tad more interesting, people should add their majors and people not currently going to college should add the school they went to.
I go to the University of Arizona.
I am majoring in psychology.

What college do you go to?

UMBC "
Houston Community College
and it really pisses me off that I still haven't learned how to spell "Community". I have to use the spell check every fucking time! D:D:D:D:
" @PrimeSynergy said:IMO, there's something for everyone. I'll tell you like I tell other people, you'll be bored and alone if you make yourself that way. We're not a party college by any means, but there's plenty to do and plenty of ways to meet people whether it be a school event, club, or w/e. And since you're on GB, I assume you like games lol. Well if you wanna make gaming buddies right off the bat, the gaming room is easily the best solution. PS3s, 360s, Xbox 1, PS2s, etc etc whatever you want to play there, someone else will probably wan to play with you. Beautiful campus, great programs, a bomb ass library that I've been to like once lol, and the food is pretty decent too. I don't really know what else to say, but like I said. That partying you see in movies and TV shows and all that doesn't really happen like that here except for those few rare occasions. If there's anything else you wanna know, feel free to shoot me a message" Pretty sure we've seen this topic before but w/eOh, I may end up going there. How is it? "

Garrett Community since I had the first two years free. Once I'm done with that I'll transfer to a bigger college to major in Psych.
Actually, I think I'd really like to hear why you people are majoring in what you chose as well.
I chose psych because I figure it is general enough to give me a solid foundation for almost anything I would want to do. Plus it actually was something I would like to learn. Something about reducing people and motives to animalistic urges turns me on.
Wallace State Community College for 2 years then I'm transferring to finish my Computer Programming degree.
McMaster, Mech Eng and Mgmt
Mechanical Engineers will be the most useful in the zombie apocalypse, and mgmt will help me climb the corporate ladder.
I go to University of Toronto. I'm a graduate student in Electrical and Computer Engineering
What exactly does communications do? Class courses, potential, etc... Trying to decide on a double major.
