Just thought i would start a semi interesting topic, at this time of night of course. I couldn't really think of a interesting song to play at my funeral. Let alone a Eulogy. Any thoughts?
Man! Thats a hard one, its impossible to pick one song to sum up my existance =P I guess I need to wait like a decade, and then reflect on what music I still love very much. Otherwise I might pick a song that I just happen to be infatuated with at the time.
"I Got Friends In Low Places" by Garth Brooks. It might be funny because you're gonna be buried... underground... where it's low? Maybe funny?
To be completely serious, I'd probably want them to play the Imperial March. I always thought it would be awesome if I got married and they played it when my wife walked down the aisle. Since I probably won't get married, they should just play it when I die.
In my opinion this wins hands down. The themes in Crisis Core revolve a lot around despair and things like: "even though you accomplished so much.. you still lose". Perfect for what death and funerals symbolize.
Eat me alive by Judas Priest, it is so absolutely inappropriate for that kind of occasion.
When my friend had cancer he made it really, really clear that if he died during his operation that I would 100% make sure that Barbie girl by aqua was played at his funeral... that would have been pretty awesome.
