So I have an Asus Zenbook UX31E, and I'm dual booting Windows 7 and Linux Opensuse 12.1 and everything works great. I'm considering upgrading to Windows 8 (only $40 for digital upgrade) but the Windows 8 upgrade assistant said that Secure Boot isn't supported by my PC. I did some searching on the internet but I'm still confused, some things I read said I need a new motherboard if Secure Boot isn't compatible, and some things said I can't dual boot Linux with Secure Boot. So what exactly is Secure Boot? Do I need it to upgrade to Windows 8, can I still dual boot Linux with Windows 8? Any help appreciated!

Windows doesn't seem to like sharing a computer, so you may have to just put Windows 8 on there and then put Linux back on there.
