You can only bring three items( not including your clothes etc). These items have to be ones that are in your house right now. No " im gonna get me a UZI and a unlimited supply of twinkies". Also where would you go.?
edit:"duhh this thread is so!!! original, you're like the first person to think of this durr!!!,"
My photo album, a guitar, and a bible.
edit:You have to leave your house because you live in a highly populated area. Just fucking pretend you live in a highly populated area if you don't. Also the three items are things that are personal to you. So you could pick up weapons and food on the run.( should of clarified that)
Zombie Apocalypse( you have to leave your house immediately)
...Why would I leave my house?
EDIT: Whatever, I would grab a crowbar, some sandwiches and my car keys. You see, I already have many useful things (guitar included) in my car.
...Why would I leave my house?Thats just it. Barricade yourself. Get to the roof. Move roof to roof. No reason to go to the street.
12 gauge shotgun (and a box of shells if that counts as one of the items), my katana, and if the box of ammo doesn't count, my cell phone + charger as it could possibly come in handy.
Now to punch holes in the logic of this :P

and
Why can I only take three items? I can fit 10 small items in my pockets :P
@nintendoeats said:wouldn't you run out of food if you barricaded yourself? You would want to leave immediately if you leaved in a big city....Why would I leave my house?Thats just it. Barricade yourself. Get to the roof. Move roof to roof. No reason to go to the street.

If I had to, I would take a 7 iron, a spork and The Zombie Survival Guide.
This is assuming zombies are slow.
12 gauge shotgun (and a box of shells if that counts as one of the items), my katana, and if the box of ammo doesn't count, my cell phone + charger as it could possibly come in handy. So people can narrow it down to three important things to them.

@The_Laughing_Man said:Good point, but I live in a rural area so it'd be better to barricade myself. I own goats and chickens (eggs and milk and meat if they stop producing), and within a square mile of me there are probably like 400 - 500 people max.@nintendoeats said:wouldn't you run out of food if you barricaded yourself? iPhone 4: (so I can update my twitter about all of the fucking zombies I am seeing, and how I hope I survive) (also so that I can check into the "Zombie Apocalypse" location on Foursquare)
hmm... I'm not too sure what else I would bring. I guess I'll take my messenger bag but I'm not sure what I would put in it.
I wish I was kidding, but Food water and a laptop.
Why? Because I have LITRALLY built a zombie bunker, with solar panels turning our sun into elecricity, a lot of various inputs, Such as... earthenet, co-ax cable, fm, am, wireless, and my elecrical connects to the internet. I have yet to move food and water down, however there's a small laptop down there, but it can't run starcraft 2.
My bastard sword, my paired daggers, and my authentic napoleonic duelling pistol.
Unfortunately, this would do nothing more than make me look badarse, as all these weapons are replicas... Although the sword can take an edge.
In actual fact, I'd be grabbing the item most convenient for killing myself, why give the zombies the satisfaction/dinner?
I'd say that my crown would be one of the three items, but I'm pretty sure that it counts as clothing. In that case, I'd take my computer, a sack with all my shit, and a sack in which I took a shit. I'd throw the sack into the zombie hoards, therefore distracting them, and I'd use that opportunity to transform into Rosa and just cast Life3 on everybody. Was Life3 in FF4? If not, I'm still Rosa; I can heal the hell out of those zombies.
I'm prepared for this. I have a BOB (Bug out Bag) already loaded as a 72 hour kit, but I could live indefinitely out of it. It contains basics like extra clothes/food/fire starting kit/medical kit/hammock/etc.
I'd grab the bag, my esee junglas (because a knife is arguably the most important survival item along with the ability to make fire).
If I was allowed to take my bag, I'd only need the 2 items along with clothes.
My gun, my car keys, and my Nike bag (to carry more stuff). Then to my boys house who has even more guns, camping and hunting shit, and a crossbow. Then to my mommas house ain't no damn zombies killing my momma.
Cell phone, blunt object (pipe, wooden board), and my 3DS. It doubles as a camera and an mp3 player. Plus, I'll be passing by groups of zombies or groups of survivors, so I'll be bound to get some Streetpass action.
chainsaw, kitchen knife and gas for the chainsaw. i would hide out in a shelter of some sort. some place that nobody would go to. wait it out for a few days. quickly go to the safeway, get food and camp out for another 2 weeks. then ill go to canadian tire to get 4 machetes to strap on to my waist, get a new chainsaw, try to unattach a buzz saw and make a flamethrower out of a blow torch and an oxygen tank. then ill go to the police station a few blocks from the canadian tire, get all the guns that i could find, find a car drive it out to the woods and live their for the rest of my life with a solar powered radio
Let's see... I always have my swiss army knife and hunting knife in my pocket, and my ipod touch, my phone, and a flashlight. So I'd probably grab my fishing pole and tackle (assuming that doesn't count as two things), my tool box (hammer, drill, saw, socket set and wrenches, assorted screws and nails, etc), and my laptop. My wife's family already has a plan in place for total societal collapse. We all go down to a canyon where they have property. There's no one else for miles. Just deer, the Colorado river, and lots of farmable land.
My cigar box (with some pictures of my deceased dad a few of his things i kept), my dog, and portable breathing machine w/ medicine
I would of put inhaler instead of machine but i have an extra inhaler in my jacket and overnight bag which i always keep ready (counts as clothes etc. right?) My breathing isn't terring (asthma) but sometimes it can.
But the first thing i would go for is my dog, over everything else.
