Hi Folks.
 
I got my copy of Forza 3 through in the mail yesterday (pre-ordered from Play.com) though I wasn't able to play it due to being busy cleaning up my PC!
 
I fired it up this morning and was keen to try out the vinyl design edittor. Failing to find any inspiriation I decided that I would attempt to faithfully re-create the Giant Bomb "Bomb" Logo. This is the first time I've ever created anything in either Forza 2 or 3 (I never had the patience for it in Forza 2!) and it took me a couple of hours to create. I'm pretty pleased with my results!
 
I just thought I'd make this wonderfull community aware that I've stuck it up on my storefront (XBL Username is the same as my username here) for you all to get your hands on! 
 
I look forward getting any feedback you may have, and to seeing a fleet on GB sytled rides online!

As I said, I've made it available to purchase from my storefront, however I have limited the numbers - though I'm likely to keep chucking more up. I'm hoping to perhaps let Jeff have it as a gift? Perhaps a trade for some of his pixel art?

That's soo cool. I was half expecting to just see a circle with a couple dots for eyes and you saying "look ma I dunnit!!" but it actualy looks really close to the logo.
 
Make sure everyone can get it though. We need to spread the GiantBomb word across Forza.

Excellent work sir. If I had the game, I'd buy the design.

@Scooper : It took me around two and a half hours to create! I used the Logo in the top left of the site as a guide, switching back my VGA back and forth between PC and 360. It's pretty hard to tell in the screenshots but all the little details are in there, including the grey rope marks on the fuse and the shading in the eyes. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and once I started I had to finish and it had to be perfect.  Glad you enjoy!
 
@ez123 : I'm in the UK and pre-ordered from Play.com. They always seem to deliver games to me pre-launch date, hence I pre-order from them. However, I received ODST on the correct launch date, and OFP:DR 5 days after it launched! On the whole though, they're pretty good at getting stuff too me before launch.

Same here, I pre-order my games from game.com (also UK) and got Forza 3 4 days early, and Uncharted 3 days early.

If anyone who purchased it is a user of the boards here I'd really like to see any design work you may have used my vinyl in! Upload a screenshot or two perhaps!?

How much are you charging?  I planned on making a plethora of GB images and then selling them at the minimum price as fan service.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; thankyou to everyone for their kind words regarding my work! Makes the 2 and half hours i spent making it VERY worth it!

In Forza 3 could I take the vinyl from that car and put it on a R8 ,Fairlady or any car I want?

You can place any vinyl group you purcahse onto any car you have!
 
For example, if you were to download my Giant Bomb Logo from my storefront you could then apply it to any car you own in the game.
